My nana used to make tomato aspic that was so good. It was just tomato juice and lemon jello, as far as I remember. real simple fare as was everything else she would make, but it was wonderful.

I wish the game did take off. I had a neat concept for my character, an Imperial officer who was second command of an ISD. But I think that staff's attempt to use FATE, cool of an RPG system as it is, was ultimately its downfall as it doesn't seem very popular among RPers at all.

Ugh. We lived close to where the DC snipers were killing people. I felt so scared every time I put my boys, ages 5 and 6 at the time, on the school bus and didn't stop until they came home safe every day.

As many people know, due to my being open about this, my oldest is autisic. Tonight he bailed out of the house, requiring me to send his brother after him and me calling 911 since I didn't know where they were going to wind up and needing a mediator during times like this. Dispatch sent out two cars, three officers in total, who helped defuse the problem and got him home down the block while his brother and I followed, taking that short span of time to calm down.

After he got inside I talked to the officers for a moment and they mentioned how they have absolutely no training in how to handle situations with people like my son and other mental disabilities because they have no funding for such. This angers me as well as saddens me. Clarksville is a military town and a lot of people are vets who have PTSD and they could benefit from police officers who know how to help, along with people like my son. Makes me want to win the lottery just so I could give it to them so they can have that training.

That just because someone is nice to me doesn't mean they're my friend. I need to stop being so trusting and naive. I've gotten a lot better about it over the years, especially since March of this year, but people still manage to slip in under my radar and hurt me.

The host company said it was something to do with their servers. I am assuming this is the same issue that caused the first three-day downtime the mu* had. But hey! At least the wiki's up this time. smh
