I guess it goes to show that he can’t be trusted with access and that he will lie about it when confronted.

Just an update:

We continue to work on our new CG and other code. I have rewritten all of our News Files. Our House Rules will be gathered in the same place and accessible via news (blah). We're picking up momentum and are having some pretty great discussions on our Discord. Player feedback during development is really valuable and I find that their excitement makes me want to finish that much faster.

Anyway, we're stoked. I can't wait for you guys to come play with us.

We've cleaned up a ton of DB and wiki bloat. We had an ungodly amount of pointless backups taking up lots of space.

On the New Game front:

We're taking a more proactive approach this time and being transparent with the game creation process by getting players involved and our excitement level is off the charts. I am really interested in setting ideas especially; we're having a grand old time on the game right now brain storming on the Game Development channel.

I just want people to feel invested and like they helped to build something. Come join if you're intrigued; we're trying to poke our heads outside of the box and have fun.

So the other week I dealt with a 'feedback' email from a user that was just laden with abusive language and profanity. I basically said: 'We appreciate your feedback if not the abusive language it was delivered in.'

Got chewed out for doing so and told 'Saying that isn't needed. Just thank them for the feedback.'

Fuck that noise. Part of being a team lead is going to bat for my team and I know it bothers some of them when they get abusive language and threats, even in an email. I was actually downright polite. I've shut people down in the past and told them we'll gladly assist them when they can be polite about their request.

I fucking hate when companies are OK with their front line agents being treated like shit.

As someone who has to deal with this shit and who supervises the people being abused, FUCK THAT. The customer is not always right and that shit should never ever be rewarded. It feels really bad when you get abused at work and your bosses tell you to suck it up.

I'm doing my best to throw down some plothooks and get a plot going. I think we left plot and mood direction on the backs of PRP runners for a long time without much guidance or cohesion and the only thing going on beside sometimes low effort XP award plots.

Stop making it SO HARD for me to give you money! If you want folks to pay a bill, why do you make the easiest way for most cost $5-10? This should be illegal.

Mood Update
Matters have been eerily quiet in the city of Fallcoast, Maine. There hasn’t been a single murder, kidnapping, or disappearance in over two years. There’s a feeling of being in the eye of a storm, of being lulled into a sense of security -- whether it's false or not is yours' to discover.

Shifts in different statistics in the areas of quality of life have occurred like an extreme raise in median household income, a drop in overall crime rate including property crimes, and an extreme downturn in the previously disturbingly high missing persons and murder cases to zero. What is to blame for this sudden shift to peace and civility?

There seems to be a suppression machine at work trying to keep the good news of the prosperity and stability that is Fallcoast under wraps. There is too much blood, too much glamour, and Locus after locus seems be popping up around the city. There hasn’t been an Anshega or Loyalist or Seer spotted for months but that could easily change because word has begun to spread and both light, dark, and gray forces have been called to Maine.

Everyone loves a banquet.
