Due to confusion since @Glitch, @Thenomain, and I are all posters as well as mods, we've agreed to institute MOD VOICE. That is to say, if we're speaking as moderators and board-tidy-uppers, we'll mark the comment or post to indicate as much. If there's no tag of that sort, you may disagree, argue, spit at, roll your eyes towards so hard they rattle and/or backtalk^ to your heart's content.

      ES

^ Note: equally available are agree, chime-in, smile-at, flutter lashes and/or coo.

So basically, the Royal Canterlot Voice.

Fun? What is this fun thou speakest of?

One of the forums I use does that: it colours the mod post background so it stands out. Sort of yellow instead of white. There really isn't a doubt how they are posting as when that happens.

@Insomnia, I think that the purpose is to differentiate the Admin's "personal" posts vs "policy" posts. Coloring them all yellow would be counter-productive to that intent.

If EmmahSue/Glitch/Theno made a post about how they hated Wheaties, then that's a personal post and we can spit on it.

If they make a post about spitting on Wheaties IN MOD VOICE then we have to shut up and take our Wheaties-spitting proclivities to other places. Like Walmart.

But at no time, I repeat, no time will I coo at any post.

I think she gets that since she said

              (Emphasis mine.)

ETA: It's not a bad idea if this forum as the capabilities? For you guys to be able to be like THIS IS A MOD POST! Lets turn it puke yellow!

Yeah that's the point. They choose what background the post has, when they make a post. It's very obvious,
