I was watching a youtube video on Geeks and Sundry (or whatever the channel name is). It's a Table Top series type thing. Most of the games they play I'm 'Meh. Seems okay.' Then they had the Dread system and I was 'Oooooh. THat looks fun.'

Has anyone else seen the game?! I want it something fierce.

      For references..

It's amazingly fun and quick to set up as a one shot.

Fiasco (another game they did) is also amazing in a similar fashion, but scratches a different thematic itch (Coen Brothers style films).

All right. We're gonna do this the scanner way. I'm gonna suck your brain dry! Everything you are is gonna become me.

I think that Dread is really neat, but I probably wouldn't put the effort out to acquire it AND the jenga blocks to be able to own it. It'd be neat to play at a party or on weekend where a few friends want to do something, but I can't say it's one I want to play over and over.

Also if I ever did play it, I'd probably want a house rule of 3-strikes and then dead. Rather than just one pull and your character is dead.

I'm not sure how I'd do it but it seems pretty fun. I think it depends on the story being told to whether it would be instant death or not if the tower falls for me.

              Jenga: The RPG.

              I would dig it.
