RE: Staffing Philosophy: Action vs Procedure
@GentlemanJack's staff policy is the culmination of like.... 4 games worth of random staffers doing silly things.
In action it's less hardcore than it sounds. Most of the time Jack is willing to discuss things rather than brain people with the policy, but it's there to fall back on. I'll be using it when I get my Wyld West game off the ground with a few modifications to personal taste.

RE: Changeling?
Keep Austin Wyrd is soft-open at the moment and currently Changeling only.
Wiki's at tex-mux.wikidot.com. I'd type more about it, but I'm nursing a migraine and text is just blegh in anything but short bursts.

RE: Good TV
Lucifer is being licensed from DC/Vertigo, but Gaiman's involvement ends there. I think it's supposed to be more based on the later Mike Carey comic rather than the stuff Lucifer did in Sandman.

RE: RL things I love
In personal cooking triumphs I recently figured out how to prepare a serviceable risotto. It's not like, Michelin star risotto, but it's not crap by any stretch.

Nope, but for what it's worth, there's a Youtube channel with the entire run of Duckman on it.... for now.

You guys should find and watch subbed sentai and Kamen Rider if you're not already. It's amazing.

RE: The State of the Chronicles of Darkness
My only real peeve with the book is that the merits & flaws section is incredibly light and includes a line about how it will be filled out in the M20 Book of Secrets.

RE: The State of the Chronicles of Darkness
I've always taken any of the plot stuff in OWoD with lots of salt. Too many years of it randomly flipflopping or being hilariously outrageous (Demon Hunter X anyone?) to make me worry about it all that much.

RE: The State of the Chronicles of Darkness
The renamed technocrat spheres actually have their own rules and are different from their traditional cousins. It's pretty cool. Does a lot to further the techno in technocracy.

RE: Dread the Game
It's amazingly fun and quick to set up as a one shot.
Fiasco (another game they did) is also amazing in a similar fashion, but scratches a different thematic itch (Coen Brothers style films).
