Interest check: WH40K Only War

I would absolutely play any WH40K game.

Slight tangent, but as a matter that may be of interest to folks here, it looks like the 40K RPG license has passed from FFG to Ulisses. They are apparently in the process of making this: http://www.ulisses-us.com/wrath-glory-faq/.
God only knows what it will be like but 'classic alien races' are apparently on the table at some point in the line. I would presume this includes things like Eldar. It's a bit difficult for me to think of an alien race more 'classic' to the universe except for maybe the Orks.
Also-also, these people are apparently doing a new edition of Fading Suns.

@kairos Classic Alien Races: Eldar, Ork, Squat, Tyranid, Genestealers (Before they were Tyranids), Zoats, umm... There are more but I don't have my rogue trader book anywhere near handy.

@lithium Beastmen, Ratlings, Ogryns, Slann, Jokaero, Enslavers, Vampires, Ambull, and a dozen less sentient (yes, I did have my Rogue Trader book just outside of arm's reach).

@magee101 Necrons (and Tau) are both much, much newer. I would even call either of them "classic" even if they've been around for 5 editions (and 4 respectively, I believe).

@seraphim73 Oh I thought classic was based on age, iirc Necrons are the things that are as old as the Old Ones or something like that.

As long as Spice Mareen apps were routinely rejected we'd be in business. Don't need Brother Custodious Supreme Ligotiator of the Porcelain Brown Terrors and his squad of Deathwatch marines stealing the show. Even worse one of those Soul Drinker cleansed Chaos Marines making an appearance to show off his taint.
Still, having read Fifteen Hours it still didn't feel very Warhammer-(y) as a day in the life of a guardsman. I liked the Gaunt's Ghost stories but that was the first bit of 40K fluff I'd read in a long time and it did feel like these are the battles that are not important enough to merit a Space Marine detachment. -
@twogunbob Space Marines would be used by Storyteller Admin sparingly for plot. High quality apps would be considered with Tier caveats (akin to TR/FC) for players.

No benefactor so this is still in the winds. Maybe in the next couple months I can get something squirreled away to get something started

Wait are those for real? I never know they existed and now I want them. Something about children's books set in that setting makes me want to read them just to see how the car crashes. -
