I feel like this same person is targeting another game I'm on with similar behaviour and tactics; any chance of getting an IP address so we can verify and ban?

@jphuygh We had him visit at the short-lived Ankh-Morpork MUSH too, I think. At least the bloke there sounded and acted much the same. Really sweet in pages, latching on to existing roleplayers, discussing his character, seeming sane and nice and someone you'd want to play with.
Then proving himself to be a complete nut job once his app got rejected.
Bit ironic if it is the same guy, that he'd latch on to me for a long chat twice on two different games. I guess my troll radar ain't all that.

Once banned, he uses VPNs to keep coming back.Anyone have ideas on how to protect a game from someone THAT determined to "play" where they're not wanted?

He logged on to Arx and asked how we were, it was nice. Not sure Apos got around to answering him, but if he reads here: the game is totally still run by cunt rags and they are doing really well, thanks for asking!

Double posting to respond. He does not want to 'play' anywhere. He wants to be obnoxious and play his dollar store Jigsaw game until he thinks that he's "won". What "winning" looks like is unknown to me, but I'm sure he has some kind of trigger where he thinks he has finally gotcha. Or he'll get bored and wander off to go jack off in his mother's basement yet again.
My advice? Don't CARE about it. Play whack-a-troll when he pops up and have fun with it. He's just a grade school level bully. Best thing to do with those is just ignore them.

Hi, so I don't play on Firefly but heard about this situation through the grapevine, and a few red flags started popping up because some of the behaviour being described sounded familiar.
Could anyone who has personally interacted with and/or RPed with him reach out via message to help me corroborate some details? If it's the same person I've had a bad experience with, I'd like to know.
Alternatively, if you could publicly list some of his more obvious tells, for example his writing style (common grammar/spelling mistakes that help distinguish him?), the kinds of characters he likes to make and favoured manipulation tactics, that way I don't need to risk accidentally putting someone on blast who might be (relatively) innocent just to confirm.

If it's the same prick from Arx then the obvious tell is using the name Remi and Zach McGowan as a PB. Has done that a few places.

0/2 on that one, but does he tend to capitalise random words mid-sentence? (Like, a lot. Every pose.)

On Gray Harbor, his character was Erland and he used the PB Janove Ottesen. So he must've broken from his regular pattern.
@ZombieKerouac likes to sound sinister even though he's REALLY not. He starts conversations off with the first part of your screen name ("Hello Bear" for me). Here's some examples of the chat messages he's sent:

@krmbm No, he makes logins named jizzum and 'c-word' and the like. Usually logs on and right off, but sometimes lurks to make noise. Uses vpn's so I can't really whack-a-mole. Been at it for the better part of a year now. Very. Special.
