Critters!

@derp Call the shelters and the local humane society. Ask if anyone has reported a lost dog and, if so, what breed/description. If so, then you know the owners are looking for him and can safely give his location.
-
The good boy let me get his picture! He would come to about 5 feet away. Cut up some hot dogs and tossed him the pieces. Poor guy is super skittish still.
-
@derp Awww my heeeeearrrrt

nextdoor can be a cesspit but the one thing it is good for is lost and found for pets. May want to join your area's and see if you can find his people. What an adorable smushface. 10/10 would boop snoot.

Cinderella
Play-doh

-
Within the first ten seconds of being out of the crate she was up on my shoulder.
-
If my partner wouldn't murder me, I would so adopt a Parrot Kitty.
-
@silverfox AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SO CUTE!
-
My lord, these two babies could not be more different!
Cinderella does NOT like Play-doh, or ANY other cat like my Calypso (who just desperately wants to be friends with her), but she freaking loves people. She wants to be with me or my husband 110% of the time.
Play-doh on the other hand ADORES Calypso and my other cats (including Cinder) but isn't a fan of us people.

Can't have that much cute in one cat. They have to be pieces of the perfect cat. Like Voltron.

It took a bit but Cinder finally realized that play with other cats is way better than play with people, and she and Play-doh have been adorable since.
My elder Kiva is even accepting and sighs when I put the baby on her.
Husband wants to rename Cinderella to Jalapeña because she can be so spicy and opinionated, and Play-doh to Dr. Kit Baker DQT because she loovvveeesss to wrestle. (I'm currently calling her Squishy because she is all soft and Squishy when you touch her.) The names will stay the same on the paperwork but we call her what we want.
Also, a bunch of my babies are going home today! Charley has found a family with two fluffy goldens and a one-and-half year old friend, as well as a mama and papa who both work from home (prepandemic even!) so he can be doted on 100000% of the time.
Indica and Sativa also found a mama! I was so worried because they are so reserved but she fell in love with their pet finder bios and came to see them especially. They must have known because they came out of hiding for the first time for her!! They will be the only cats and she works from home so it will be perfect.
Sugar and Cecilia have both had apps, but no one has passed muster yet. I'm sure it will be soon though!

The last two from our munchkin litter go home on Tuesday!
This baby is TROUBLE. Everyone loves her on sight. She even charmed the people we use for spay and neuter which is HARD since that is ALL that place does and they see sooooo many kitties come in and out.
She will probably go in next week for adoption and will have a dozen apps in the first two days.
-
@silverfox Well just lookit that sweet FACE! And all that LEGG!
-
She managed to get more cute.
-
@silverfox The squeeing noises I'm making can only be heard by dogs, apparently. The husky downstairs went briefly nuts. XD

Awwwww

Little baby Cinderella came to cuddle with me, and take a little zzzz. She was almost in full flop mode on my chest when across the house her BFF started squeaking. Cinder woke up from almost full sleep to race across the room and make sure her friend was okay.
Then she came back to resume zzzs.
It was perfection.
