What's the tea on Obsidian Reverie?
-
I was helping someone on Discord determine if there are any fantasy MUSHes still in existence, and I saw that there is actually an ARES based CofD2E game going on, in a beta stage.
What's the story?
-
As the Tech Support for the place - we are slow atm because we are switching to a Cyberpunk Setting at the start of the year.
-
@raeras Like WoD Mirrors: Bleeding Edge or a total new setting?
-
It's still 2e - inspired from the VtR Guide to the Night Setting Shard
ETA: We will be offering Vampire, Deviant (With Mortal/Hunter rolled in) , Demon, amd Geist
-
@raeras Ah. I just know that Bleeding Edge 2.0 had just dropped on the Storyteller's Vault. It is by Travis Legge, a prominent OPP writer.
-
Oh, interesting to know! I'll have to take a look at it and see if it's something we can use
-

I tried it out a while ago! Friendly people, chargen wasn't hard, approval came pretty quick. My biggest problem was finding scenes, and I drifted away pretty quickly, but with a new setting/fresh start, that might not be a problem.

@raeras
Holy cow man, Demon? As in Demon: The Descent and not a Fallen adaptation? If so I admire your team's bravery there, that is not a game for the casual storyteller

DtD has been done before. It wasn't too terrible.

Yeah xD. The most difficult part is the Cipher thing but we've got some ideas in mind for handling that
