@nyctophiliac
Why do you need so many STers? And why are you giving them a 1 XP reward for their work? Are you expecting to have that many players and PCs, all at once?

The Vampire HST is nervous about running the entire thing by himself because we have a lovely Vampire Venue - in depth, rife with hooks and plot... While he can pull it off at first, he'd prefer to have a little help because the more scenes, the more people I think we will draw.
He also seems to think we're going to have 50 players or something unmanagable at first - he's never ST'd on a mu before, only on an established website chat. While I totally hope that's the case - where lots of people can come and play in a game, I realize it takes time to build a player base. (He, however doesn't). I did try to tell him it doesn't work like that
Lastly, how many STs we have effects the number of characters a player can have. For the moment, it's one but we would like a team large enough for each venue where every player can have one in each venue and the staff not be overwhelmed trying to provide scenes for them all.
The MU's whole schtick is to provide an actual game where people can play, rather than a sandbox. He's worried he won't be able to provide scenes of all the players by himself (being under the impression we'll have a gajillion players rushing in at the beginning).
Lastly, the reason we are remunerating is because I believe in rewarding people for donating - whether it be money or time. Both are valuable things to contribute to a game community.

I guess I do fully support being prepared for the horde to arrive, though many games are doing that a little better than the many months of getting caught flat footed. If you're truly pulling of 2-4 staff run scenes a month for the vampire sphere, I do think you may have a sizeable chunk of people filtering in, because that's definitely different. With one PC per player though, I'm thinking you might be able to ask cov STs to cover 2 each or something though.
-
We wouldn't be opposed to an ST picking up two or even the three Covenants at all
-
I might also suggest (only from my observations of the last werewolf sphere I was in) that you consider maybe an additional WW ST, and maybe as packs develop/take territories, you might want to consider some territory/pack based scenes too. Vampire has the advantage of being supportive of people interacting with each other a lot, either as adversaries or as allies, you have multigroup membership (clan and cov) automatically. Werewolf is so pack based, even by design, sometimes there's not a whole lot of "general" stuff that's really going to draw people in. (Depends on the people too maybe). I think it really could be valuable to divvy up kinds of stories too. Spirit threats? Existential threats? Ect.

You're the one in charge. You make the call.
I would be nervous about having a person in charge who has never ST'd on a MU* before. Vampire spheres attract notoriously fickle people.

Notoriously aggressive/demanding as well.

I would be quite interested in either General Vampire ST, or Carthian ST!
