In regards to Asian criminal syndicates, if you haven't seen it, check out Election. It's a foreign film if you don't mind subtitles. Anyway, I would totally play the shit out of a Hong Kong-based Directional Court Changeling crime game.
Another interesting thing to do with that would be to set it in the late eighties/early nineties, before Kowloon Walled City was taken down. The cool shit you could do with KWC and Changeling is pretty much endless.

Election was amazing. Election 2 was awesome as well. I'd love to see some old fashioned Triad-ness going on, as long as there was some kind of bodycount as well. Triad warfare without at least some death and destruction would be kind of toothless.
Maybe go even more balls-out and just have Vampires, Werewolves, Changelings and Something Else each represented by different triads and they're all vying for control or something.

I would avoid mixing games that have their own GMC lines out and published (Vampire, Demon, Werewolf in a couple of months) with games that would require really heavy House Ruling to make them GMC compliant (Changeling). It just feels like a pitfall I wouldn't wanna walk in. -
Outrage 1 and 2 are also good models. If you want to go Yakuza instead. Because Yakuza are also cool.
