Coming Soon: Arx, After the Reckoning
-
That's not true. Gay Redrains and the straight womenfolk only RP with those who have e-peen.
Zombie is apparently Shadow, who got banished ICly, then kept up his behavior until it was addressed OOCly.
-
Even though it was an ooc page the idea of some Prodigal barbarian grumbling out cyber-slit amuses me.
-
It's crude af, but the term 'cyber-slit' is amusing the hell out of me right now.
Like I'm just imagining a sexbot with a credit card slot between her legs that becomes a fleshlight.
-
Welp. Custodius/Max/Branan just got banned!
-
@Roz Huh. Any idea why?
-
"because of identifiable patterns of ooc influence on people (particularly new players) that could be viewed as very manipulative."
From the bboard
-
@dontpanda Well, that was a good call.
-
Would it be wrong of me to hope certain players come back because he's gone?

It's never wrong of someone to hope that people you like to play with can be played with more.

I would.
-
I am willing to admit that I was wrong in some regards to the way I left Arx. I am also grateful to see this from staff. I think it's a good step towards creating the type of environment that anyone wants in a creative space.
I don't know if I am one of the people that @Cupcake would want back or not, but I think not coming back is all my own fault at this point, having burned bridges in leaving.
Edit to add: yeah, I realize this isn't constructive to the thread. I was just kind of musing and also thumbs-uping to seeing a problem player asked to leave.
-
Good point, Meg. If this is how staff of Arx has matured, it might be time for me to give it another shot and see if I have as well.
-
I'd consider it. We'll see how it goes.
-
I sort of miss Arx, but my big issue with it wasn't issues like Custodius being around, sadly...
My issue was everything moved way, way too fast for me. And with my migraines now compounding my availability even more, I just... sadly still don't see it being a good fit for me.
-
@Auspice Yeah, that's really fair. They've taken specific measures to try and control the speed of things, but it's still a dense game and there's no changing that, really.
(I can tell you that there's a really great Mason player right now!)

Yeah, but right now I can only do very small (3 or fewer people, total) scenes except in very rare cases and maybe two, three scenes a week at most. Lou was awesome. I loved playing Lou, I really did, but I just... don't want to put myself in a place again of having people fussing at me for not doing more.

I mean, feel free to come play a King's Own. It's a slower pace than most of the rest of the orgs, I won't pressure you, and I'm happy to make sure you're updated and have things to do on your own timeline. (I play Leona, the faction leader)
-
Not even gonna lie, I'd love to lure some people into Deepwood and Seliki.
-
@Thenomain @Arkandel I'd prefer if you didn't.
-
@Apos I was only considering it - but if I'm unwelcome somewhere along with Theno then at least I'm in good company.
No problem!
