IS CLINTON ON TEAM MYSTIC?
Asking the tough questions. I might have to vote Trump...

Guys please be safe while out catching your Pokemon and if you're with child keep an eye on them. We had a local kid here get hit by a reverse moving car because he ran into moving parking lot traffic looking at his phone and not paying attention.
-
@Jaded I dunno. I live/work in a major city and the image of pedestrians walking around glued to their phones, oblivious to the world at large, is hardly new to me. I guess P:Go might have made more of that happen but it's not new, you know?
If I was a parent of a young child though I'd absolutely want to supervise where they get to play and limit it to pedestrian-only areas, yes.

Took a train up to New England to cover an event for work today. Got out of the train station a little after 11 in this quaint little city and found a whole bunch of people hanging out in the little park next to the station clearly playing Pokemon Go. Kind of amazing.

A 15-year-old girl was hit by a car because she decided to try crossing a highway to go after Pokemon on the other side.
...her mother is now blaming the game and trying to start a campaign to get parents to disallow their children from playing.
I dunno, lady. Maybe try teaching your kid NOT TO RUN ACROSS THE HIGHWAY.
The Darwin awards are gonna be interesting this year.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable Selfie+Pokemon catching death.
-
I think it already happened. Some guys fell off a cliff, I guess. I don't remember where I read it tho, so who knows.
-
@Sunny if it did, I'm sure it will happen again, since last year more people died from selfie related incidents than shark attacks...
-
I'm sure things will go swimmingly when there's a bunch of people pointing their phones at a playground full of kids to catch pokebeasties bouncing around. That's gonna generate some angry letters.
Or when one shows up behind, say, Sean Penn or something.
(There is a part of me that would start photoshopping paparazzi-punch photos of celebs with pokebeasts in the background and a phone overlay, but I am far, far too lazy for that, which is good, because this is a terrible part of me that should not be encouraged.)
-
@surreality I'm nonetheless encouraging you.

Incense works better while moving.

I'm all for letting people just have fun, but if people ARE trespassing on this guys property... (mostly posted for the Chretein comment though, tbh.

@Insomnia You should post what the articles are about, so that I might know if I want to click them.
