So been playing the Spider-Man game on PS4 and it's real good. Combat is fast, moving around Manhattan is cool, and the story stuff seems interesting, at least for someone who has a cursory knowledge of Spider-Man stuff. The one down side is some of the side content is downright repetitive, so I do kind of give it a few knocks against it for that.

To combat the repetitive side missions, I've been trying a different tactic.

I get really, really stoned.

Joke(kind of) aside, I'm loving this game. Web swinging around NYC is always fun. Relaxing like a smart garden. With punching and witty dialogue.

Haha. Yeah. It's the crimes man. THE CRIMES. But I finally cleared them all yesterday and got my gold trophy for 100%ing every district. Now to finish up the main story and get that Platinum.

I honestly just ... this is the first game that's come out that makes me WANT a PS4, and that's sad, because I don't have that kind of money not even CLOSE

Now that I know that Tell Tale Games is going out of house to finish The Walking Dead, I’m thinking about asking for my money back for the next two episodes.

What a complete dick move to fire your entire staff then outsource to finish development. Continuity is shot, people are abused, just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that I want to vote with my wallet.

We don't know the how or if yet.

Telltale's statement just said:
“Multiple potential partners have stepped forward to express interest in helping to see The Final Season through to completion,” the statement read. “While we can’t make any promises today, we are actively working towards a solution that will allow episodes 3 and 4 to be completed and released in some form. In the meantime, episode 2 will release tomorrow across all platforms as planned. We hope to have answers for your other questions soon.”

So they were approached by people (or companies/investors/etc.) in the wake of what happened (shutting down the studio for financial reasons). It might be that they'll get the money necessary to hire TWD's team back to finish it. That's a hope at least (and the best outcome). If they do go out of house entirely and don't do anything for the team yeah, that'd be total bs (and would result in a subpar completion since it wouldn't be the same game, VAs, etc.), but nothing's concrete/set in stone yet.

TTG Walking Dead has my attention first though. I’m rather upset what mismanagement and poor relations might do to Clementine, a completely fictional character who I completely don’t feel a small amount of personal responsibility for shut up.

Life is Strange 2. I'm not feeling the need to binge episodes like I did the first game and BtS, because for once I'm actually not playing catch-up and get to enjoy the game as it comes out.

But oh my god the feels, even more spread out.

Hey @thenomain, did you notice that they're changing the banner pretty much once a day? You happened to hit it on "Batman Day". Today is "Mordor Day" and yesterday had a smattering of pretty much all of your so-called "notable" games on it.

@thenomain The year off break was nice, exploring around Egypt and fighting hippoes was cool, plus it had the whole tour mode where you could 3D go into the pyramids. Origins is supposed to be just as pretty.

@Ganymede I would say Valkyria Chronicles 4. Origins is likely to probably be on sale a little bit around Christmas if you can wait.

Also the forums wants me to correct hippoes to hippies, which completely changes the game..
