I must be playing a different game. Because TLOU2 that I'm playing is absolutely a tire fire of a game. It plays like a game made for the PS3. And it basically shits on the last games story in an effort to be as completely edgy as possible. And so far, they literally made what amounts for a side quest last ten hours? To what? Introduce characters that have zero redeeming traits.
But. It is really pretty I will say that much.

I dunno how to reply to those without spoilers, so. I suggest just keep an open mind? It really starts to weave intk the last game's story and all of the characters have their own compelling motivations.

Just beat LoU2. Reporting in.
My god. What a fucking ride. I haven't had a story hit me like that in... ever. My heart is in my throat, and I have no idea how I should feel.
Jesus. 13/10. 100% worth the wait.

I picked up a handful of games in the Steam Sale so far (mostly cheap/silly multiplayer stuff like Tools Up, Witch It, etc), but also finally got Two Point Hospital and it is absolutely the winner. I get why people love it so much. It's relaxing to play. but also a lot of fun.

For FTL fans, Crying Suns is an absolutely fun FTL-style roguelike with a really interesting story in the game. I recommend checking it out.
And the Steam sale gives it a good 30% discount right now.

Yeah! I'm really interested in a fully urban Far Cry, myself. Lush wildernesses are nice and all, but I think a giant firefight for an outpost in the middle of a city would be all kinds of tense

Just a fun, brief note on Far Cry 6: a good friend of mine who I used to MU* with was a writer on Far Cry 5 and has been working on Far Cry 6! She's super stoked to see her work finally being introduced. I couldn't be more proud of her.

I use a Minecraft mod that just finished alpha testing for their release of the new version. As soon as they finished it (after all the bug reports and testing and things) they pulled all alphas for the version from curse and stuck the whole thing behind a paywall. I found out because the dependency was updated so I went to check to see if the release had been released, it had all vanished, and so I went to check out their discord where it was noted.
