Anyone play Disco Elysium yet? Does it live up to the reviews it's been getting?
It's definitely a game worth playing.
I have been goofing around with GW2 again, it is so fun. I seem to be doing better this time around. Last time I had to cry to a friend to come and rescue me from a too hard fight (thank you, you know who you are, still my hero). I seem to be doing just fine this time? I think I am getting better at video games.

It's a mixed bag. I was disappointed in it for a Final Fantasy title. A general fantasy title? Sure.
It is entirely possible that my expectations for Final Fantasy entries is lower than yours.
I'm a bad gamer.
The last Final Fantasy that I played (not counting FFXIV) was FFX.
And I've only PLAYED (more than just a brief scratching of the surface) FF7, FFX, and FF Tactics (the GBA one).
jrpgs just, by and far, are not my jam. There's been a couple I really liked (Shadow Hearts for example), but by and far it's a style I just am not into.
I liked the first Final Fantasy 13. The second one was alright. The third one got -- messianic salvation of the world's souls before the end of the world and I just can't even.

I never got past FF13's 20 hour tutorial.
FFX is also the last Final Fantasy that I played. At least, all the way through. I started on others and gave up on them after about 10 hours.

@TNP It's not my style of game, but I have more than one friend who loves it.
I've been playing The Arcana, which is a mobile game. It's beautifully drawn and has pretty music and a neat story. It's a romance / VN with several unique routes and a story wound up with some neat Tarot mythos. You can pick your gender and pronouns. It's real good. I have been enjoying it enough that I looked up the dev and downloaded their other game also.
I have spent too much money on extra scenes. >.>

I started to play and then stopped because I knew I'd want to spend money and I can't afford to spend money but.
Buuuuuut
It is gorgeous so I recommend that anyone who either has restraint or money play it.
@Auspice Yeah the money problem is real. The story is still perfectly sweet if you don't shell out for the extra content but ... BUT.

I loved it. Absolutely loved.
It's not for everyone. Things you should know before going in:
@Pyrephox I will always be a Sorry Cop.

I really want to try to be a Superstar Cop, but I don't know if I can do it.
I acknowledge that Space Engineers is 6 years old, but damned if it hasn't kept me distractedly entertained for the last two weeks.

It is, but it didn't get the updates that made it a full game and not just a sort of constructor set until just a couple years ago.

I'm playing Endless Legend and it is really a breath of fresh air, holy shit.

But what if we like pretty games and have neither of those things?

Feel wistful like me.
