I bought Vampyr. I am not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. I wish I could refund it but I went over the 2 hour limit.
The idea of 'destroying relationships you've forged for XP' is interesting, but it falls flat in that literally all you can raise is combat. Nothing you learn can be used outside of combat and combat... is ridiculously easy. It's just a matter of pattern recognition on a simpler scale than Dark Souls.
Except for the odd glitches that mean you get hit even when you shouldn't. Which also irked me.
Combat is actually rather hard for me, but then I've been resistant to kill people. I'm trying to focus on that aspect of being a healer, not cold-blooded-killer. And it ramped up fast for me (but I played about 8? hours the first day I had it).
I will say, I've seen a hint that killing too much brings in something much bigger and worse, so.
The developers said it scales in difficulty based on what you do.
As for Last of Us....... I really need a PS4 soon!
