Seems to be conflicting reports right now if he's actually dead or not right now.

Tom Petty isn't dead yet, afaik, but he has no brain activity and has been removed from life support, so who knows how long till he is finally gone.
I am so not happy right now.

His daughter has said he's not dead and she's railing against Rolling Stone. They apparently jumped the gun on reporting him as dead and other news agencies piled on.
