I do really enjoy the multiplayer though, it is fun. I haven't run into many bugs with clipping or things like that personally. The only thing that's really bugged me was the latency on some multiplayer games, not able to see the host's ping sucks so bad.

Raise your hand if you killed the fuck out of the Cardinal at the end of the rescue mission on Voeld.
I was really hoping to get the action prompt and I wasn't disappointed.

I was gonna. I missed the prompt. If you let her live, though, she comes into the story later.

So I just managed to Romance 2 crew members at once, softcore full frontal porno scenes and all, complete with confessions of undying monogamous love. I dunno if this is a feature, or that I put off the Journey to Meridian mission for sooooooo long (it's the mission that you need to do before the Final Unf unf scene happens). So now i am 'exclusive' with Peebee and Cora.

Things I'm Less Impressed With:
- We were promised that there would be more romance options available. If you're playing male Ryder and want to romance a male character, your options are limited to 2, neither of which are any of your primary companions, unlike female Ryder's veritable plethora of options, and the obvious one is out. Which is super lame. Bioware could have delivered on this promise so, so much better.
Wait, there's 2? I only see Gil as an option.
I found it... weird, that like, one day I hit on 'the obvious one' and he says he's not into guys and then like the next day he's hanging around shirtless around me and I'm like: ???
There are more than 2, putting behind a link because spoilers And they've been adding to it as they find them. (7 options each so far. Some of the characters overlap and go both ways).
Apparently they are a while in, and unlike say Witcher 3, the romance choices you make early on have no repercussions on the story depending on who you bang, when.
-
I at first felt stuck with my romance option in Witcher 3, but later it became amazing. Watching a stuffy, bossy, manipulative witch casually paint a mustache on a painting? Worth it.
But multiple monogamous relationships? Yeah, like I said, the programmers dropped so many flags that you'd think it was first day for the color guard at band camp. I had someone both congratulate me for surviving taking down a base and warn me not to go try and take down the same base, in the same conversation.
-
@Thenomain Yeah but just because you happen to want to have sexon a unicorn, shouldn't mean you are stuck with a particular ending. It should be the sum of your choices that matter, not your kinks when it comes to an ending.
But yeah, they should have checked some flags better in Andromeda.
-
I will note, that allegedly the developers wanted multiple types of 'romance' in the game, from casual flings to bromances to the traditional monogamy. I've no idea whether that's what's presented or not, though.
-
@Thenomain I ran into that as well. Taking down the Kett stronghold on Eos, then talking to a merc(who's the son of my favorite character from ME2 as an easter egg)congratulating for me taking it down, then a moment later that I wasn't ready to take down said stronghold. Which left me with a 'huh' kind of expression.

The link says two... Note the original message: if you are playing a male Ryder and want to romance a male.
-
@ixokai That's true, but the complaint also was that they said more options and didn't really follow through. They did though, with seven for male, and seven options for female. It's what, two same sex, two hetero options, and two bisexual, and one mono gendered option. (Asari look female, but that isn't how they reproduce. I get it it sucks if you don't like the look but if you are a female and have no interest in hot, alien girl on girl action, you only have 1 romance option.)
Seven options for a video game that has actual sex scenes. Even from a company that let you bone sexy aliens before. So I guess I was responding more to the wish they had carried through comment than the two comment.
-
Funny the only person that I'd like to be able to romance, isn't(awesome Asari doctor).

And yet has some of the best romance dialogue in the game.
Hell, the fact that she has romance dialogue means that someone had a good day in the writer's pool. I think I'm going to blame most of the issues I have with Andromeda on whomever thought the interplanetary travel animations were a good idea. It rivals ME1's Slow-Ass Elevator Rides from Hell.

Oh, sometimes when I try to boot ME:A, I get a black screen yet still get volume, especially when I have Skype active. The best clue I have is someone reporting an issue with the Corsair Utility Engine (headset, not keyboard; I have more sense than that), but as it reliably happens during a Skype call and almost never else, I was hoping that someone had an idea why.

I don't know that you're seeing the point.
For a gay male Ryder, there are two choices. Not seven. (And not one can be a regular mission companion)
For a gay female Ryder, there are four. (And two can be a regular mission companion)
Granted, I'm counting the asari as female here. I know by theme they are mono-gendered but I stand by that.
The 'bisexuals' are all female-ish, except Reyes (the second gay male option).
No, really, I am unhappy with this aspect of things. I don't especially like either Gil or Reyes, but feel I have to pick between one. Sooo.... uh.... whatever. I don't care. Yes, a Fem-Ryder has seven choices. But my Gay-Ryder has two. That's the point.
I'd have been happy if only the obvious choice would be able to be romanced, especially since the jerk took to being shirtless for a few days after I hit on him and he turned me down. Hmph.

If you think that's off, there is a side task you can do where your two male companions strip completely down on front of you. Neither of which are romance options for dude Ryder.
It's like a giant fuck you.

That's because she's Natalie Dorman.

If you have no interest in hot, alien girl-on-girl action, then what the fuck are you doing playing Mass Effect?
Logan: Rookies.
-
@Ganymede So I can have sex with the mountains, duh!
-
Missed one:
UbiSoft - Can you see those mountains?
You are now leaving the designated mission area. -
I want to kill every single Exile. Self-righteous fucks. Any option that fucks them over harder, I take.
Then again, on the flip side, if I can throw Tann off his throne, I'll do that too.

Same, both. I frankly am astonished the Andromeda Initiative didn't have better psych profiling. Then again Tann was never supposed to have anything remotely like a throne to begin with. He's an accountant.
Question: Is there anything special I have to do to unlock the final memory in Sam? I got all the memory triggers but it said I have to find a way to unlock it, but I'm not sure if its something I need to find and thus miss (And I desperately do not want to miss it), or if it'll happen as part of the main quest line.
EDIT: Nevermind
