Then again how many times have we seen the Waynes die? Those pearls!
On the big screen? Twice. The same amount of times we've seen Uncle Ben die.
Except the Waynes took like thirty years to die again, whereas Uncle Ben died twice in the span of like, 10?
Three, because I counted Gotham.
Same as the destruction of Krypton, especially after you factor in Smallville, Lois and Clark, etc.

Gotham is little screen. I said big screen.
Because otherwise, ugh, TV series, cartoons, etc., etc.
-
-
I think it's 3 for the recent games as well.
-
@Arkandel Well, we were talking about movies.
In any case, if you're counting TV, I don't recall getting "krypton exploding" in Smallville or Lois and Clark, other than maybe in the intro for the latter, which doesn't even count, actually, and many of the Spider-Man and Batman scenes in which Uncle Ben or the Waynes die are flashbacks much further into the show, rather than "origins stories".

Fuck yeah, Secret Wars #5 finally dropping tomorrow.

@Insomnia So gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
-
I've never liked Deadpool.
This movie (very possibly solely because of Ryan Reynolds) is making me reconsider that opinion.
-
I'd like to petition that Fox keeps the Fantastic Four. Mostly because I hate them and dislike the idea of someone telling me that an FF movie is good... And me not strangling them for their blatant insolence.

Have you read Ultimate F4? It's pretty good, especially the first few years.
-
I don't understand how they can consistently fail to do Doom justice. The guy is, as far as I'm concerned, the definitive Marvel villain, so why are they turning him into a generic bad guy?
He ought to have been their Joker. Instead he's ... forgettable.
-
Ultimate FF was good. No argument there. Doom is a phenomenal villain. Also true.
Original style FF still sucks dirty pennies.

He's amazing as Kublai Khan on Marco Polo.
