An Invisible Path Hawkwood. He started so much shit, and when his liege turned hostile to him, he took to undermining her plans. It was an amazing plotline, overall, even with his missteps.
-
I very much enjoyed Cessaly the Feral Squid, and Court Wicke the Sin-Eater both @The Reach. Both had a rich setup for how they looked at things, and they had larger goals, but were designed to adapt to whatever RP I happened to find.
I was lucky with Cessaly, and found a few players who found her interesting enough.
Court had less people to interact with, but I could write a novel about the interaction between him and his Geist.
-
@goldfish I will always and forever miss Wyatt.
-
@tragedyjones I thought your werewolf was pretty nifty on TR.
-
@scar I was Reinard. It was pretty sad when things went belly up there. It was the first time I'd seriously enjoyed playing for awhile!
-
@puppybreath The tension between Jamie & Rei was a lot of fun! I seriously still donβt know whether theyβd have killed eachother in the end or not.

Which werewolf? I had a few!
-
@tragedyjones I want to say Stone. I'm terrible at remembering names, though. But I do remember the character.
-
@redjellybean Yeah, Stone was my first approved PC on The Reach. Professional murderwolf and source of drama.
-
@tragedyjones Stone was a rockstar. His instrument was pain.

Jackson Rio. The Reach.
I made the character with a fast blaze of glory in mind. Start fights. Be crude. Never under any circumstances have Defense to use. Sure, there was depth to the character but I had no idea it would survive long enough to see the light.
Years later, nothing killed him and he's held pretty much every Court position at one point or another. Had way too much fun, met great people and even sucker punched a horse. Good times.
Dawson Bryce. The Reach.
Made a broken soldier sort. Meant to be a Ghoul. Next thing I know, he's not crippled and now he's a Wizard. Brother to a horrible Vampire. Best friends with a Monkey God and a disgruntled, ultra burned out cop. So much drama ensued but it was all fun right up to the end. Then it went down hill. Fast. Great ride though and made me fall in love with Mage.
I've had a lot of characters but those two are the only ones I've tmteally put that much time into.
-
@Royal I was always dying for a reason to play with Jackson but our paths only crossed once or twice. I was never disappointed.

Wait was there another Bryce sibling? Because the only vampire I know was awesome.
Also, weird that both of those PCs were known to RP with me!
-
@tragedyjones What a strange coincidence, right?

Man. Dawson and the Bryce family as a whole got me started on The Reach and I couldn't have lucked into better people. I was late to the party by then, but playing Alice was memorable, to say the least. She's another character I've just loved from start to finish.

I'll say! It's been years and I still think back to a few scenes with her that stand out as so much good variety of tension.
-
@royal It was an honor and a pleasure to play Ramona under Jackson's leadership. You made the unasked for dream of a Bruja-run Elysium come true, and it was hilarious good fun while it lasted!

I have created and played a number of characters that I count as my favorites, easily a dozen of them over the many years that I mushed. In the course of it, some of them even taught me a few lessons in the playing of them!
Hannah@Due Rewards has to be at the top of my list of favorites, even if that was some 17+ years ago that I played her. Hannah was my first character to genuinely be a villain on a mush, and the first character that I played who looked at a long-view. She plotted, planned and schemed to a level that I hadn't really tried to do before in a mush. But honestly, those things aren't what puts her at the top of the list for me.
Before playing Hannah I had usually picked up 1 or 2 people that I enjoyed RPing with and created character connections to, but it had always been rather minor story and wouldn't have really fallen into a genuine character developing change. With Hannah, who was the Tremere Regent/Primogen I gradually built up a great Tremere Chantry with a dozen people that became an integral part of that character's story and when I remember how much I enjoyed that character I don't remember it for the stats that she had (And she was honestly a pretty beefy 8th Gen Tremere.), what I remember is the fun I had as she tormented her ghouls, as she scolded and lectured the "younger" vampires she was trying to teach and train and in her interacting with the others (even though I generally wasn't much of a fan of the politics).
I think I could go on and on listing the fond memories I have of that character but the fact that they are memories I really owe to all those people that I played with on Due Rewards, even the ones I didn't get along with. Hannah was the first character that I played that really taught me that lesson as a gamer.
After her I would be hard pressed to decide who was my next most enjoyable, Jenny@Denver, Crystal@TR, Cierra or Panthea@DC or Lucy@TR are all on the top of my list for different reasons in each case.

Don't worry. She still doesn't want to fuck Gordon, wherever she is now.

Good, because as he assured: he had no interest in her either and she didn't have to worry about any of that. Duh.
It's not that he was afraid of Dawson Bryce. It was only that he didn't want to have to deal with Dawson coming up with some mildly insane revenge scheme that'd involve a donkey, Tijuana, and liquid crack. And Disneyland or something.
