When you get yelled at because "Someone" was seen "Somewhere" by "Someone" sleeping on the job, and therefore the blame automatically falls on you instead of anyone else despite the fact you spend most your time locked up in an office watching security monitors. x.x

The lady who is never ordering from the webstore again. No, please don't stop giving money to the webstore and retuning it to my store, what will I do without unsellable inventory and less money for the day...
People who won't accept that, no, they don't get a special discount just because. Never hurts to ask, but I am not going to fucking haggle with you. Buy the shit at MSRP or go fuck yourself.
"So X comes with Y, which is $50 separarely. Or you can upgrade to Z, which normally costs $80, for the $30 difference." "And I still get Y?" "...no, you get Y for free or Z for $30." "But why don't I get Y if I buy Z?" "Because you're only paying the difference from the cost of Y." "I don't understand." How do you not understand.

I hate ending phone calls. Especially business phone calls. It's five minutes of, "Yes, it was so great hearing from you! I definitely want to continue this discussion. I'm so glad you reached out! I'll look forward to seeing that info."

I almost outright quit my job yesterday. Mostly due to crushing depression because being off meds. Forced myself to go in, pushed through. Still feeling it today, but came in...
Boss: "Client is moving to 4 hour block schedules. But because of your special requirements as an office lead/manager and the hours you have to be there to close up the office... this is going to cause you to lose 5 hours a week unless we figure something out."
I'm already barely scraping by each month.
I desperately need this job I'm interviewing for tomorrow.

I repent for my white background sins. Tried the Darkly theme, eyes opened.

I prefer the 'Cyborg' theme myself. I like the font better.

I can't use white for MUing, but the dark backgrounds for nodebb just had other issues that irked me visually.
It's not my favorite, but whatever. I hate nodebb as a whole.

@tinuviel I miss having TextWrangler on this computer because I could even do basic annotated text files up rather nicely on a black background if I wanted to.
And I am still too broke to spring for BBedit as yet.

@surreality You can use BBedit for free, it just keeps the premium features locked.

@roz Ooh, thank you. That is good to know. I think last time I checked, it had been a limited trial for that. Maybe since they retired the free version they switched, though -- that would make a lot of sense.

What if we use it because it is the default and we can't be arsed to change it? Do I still count as odd or just especially lazy?
