Because sometimes parents are bullshit.

Part of why I don't see mine except rarely is that my brother (who is 29) lives at home, but has given me death threats, called to torment me, etc.... and their response to it is 'you're the older sibling, so you should just forgive him and move on.'

The older generation + conflict avoidance = bullshit situations.

If you can hear your neighbors giving each other Christmas presents (sex), their music is probably not working to drown it out.

Sometimes I wonder if I should be leaving notes in their mailbox about it, but it just feels like it would only accomplish at inducing embarassment in one or both parties.

You should be happy for them!

Waking up because of sudden, sharp pain.

Immediately getting hit by the sudden, sharp pain nausea wave.

At least I made it to the bathroom in time.

(So, it's gonna be one of those days... )

Admittedly, I still feel the worst about not pausing to wuffle the flouf, because she was in an adorable flopsy pose and I had to vault her completely in the zoom. She looked really big-eyes worried and was making 'the mommy is of concern' meows at me when she rushed into the bathroom right after me.

Why does that feel even worse?

I start moving tomorrow. (Bulk of move is Saturday, but I wanna move food and kitties tomorrow)

I don't actually have the full amount they came up with for a deposit. Hoping a friend can lend it to me and I'll pay them back next week. Fingers crossed because....... yeah.

...........my plans to move a bunch of stuff over today are, however, stymied by the fact that they just finished setting up the apartment this morning which included new appliances (cool) ......but left the old fridge at the top of the stairs. There's enough room to squeeze past but carrying boxes past is p much out of the question.

I was reminded of this today when I linked that crochet pattern in the crafts thread. She gives not just a date for when the freebie ends but also time and timezone!
