A friend and I are working on a game that's using the latest version of PennMUSH (Pennmush 1.8.6.p2) and we're wondering if the use of accents is possible; é, ó, è, î etc. etc. (Not regional accents!)
Can someone point us in the direction of how to do this/where to find the information if it's possible? Or is this something not supported by the codebase.

It's the LANG option in the 'restart' file. Set it to:
en_us.iso8859-1
Or
En_USDepends on your distribution.
Use the accent() function to test.

Update so double post: @mercutio 's solution worked. It was adding LANG=en_US.ISO8559-1 that did the trick. Thank you again.

Great folks there. Usually pretty quick with answers usually and, if not, good about checking channel history to answer questions when idle.
