I once was mid scene and had just posed. Three minutes later after running some commands that scrolled the scene out of view, I forgot I was mid a scene and left to go RP elsewhere with people I noticed on hangouts. Got a page 5 minutes later: "?"

"Sorry! I totally forgot we were scening!"

I used to look for a scene around 10-11 PM on Friday and then promptly fall asleep 4-10 poses in. Just ask @ILuvGrumpyCat, who had so much patience with me, holy shit.

Over twenty years ago now, but I was one part of the "welcome committee" on a superhero game. Tasked with paging guests/brand new people to answer questions, tell them about the game, encourage them to come play.

Mine: Late 90's, a WoT MUD I staffed on was using a 'democratic system' to make decisions. That meant there wasn't really anyone in charge per se, anything was voted on by a committee, and the politics were pretty intense.

It had led to these long meetings - we're talking 4-5 hours each - to determine everything, which were spammy and boring as hell. Anyway, one of my RP partners at the time and I were TSing over pages while waiting for the next vote.

... And she maved, posing it into the room instead of sending it in a page to me. Did I mention her RL husband was the meeting's chairman?

There was a long silence afterwards, like 30 seconds of it while people read what was on their screens to make sure they saw it right... and then everything devolved into pure chaos.

I have yet to mav a TS pose to anyone. I have been in the hobby since... 1996? Yeah.

It does not matter that I could count the number of times I've TSed even to an ftb point over the past 2 years on the fingers of one hand and still have the thumb left over, this is a horror long overdue and the Sword of Damocles feel is real, y'all.

I live in terror of the shit fate is storing up for me on this front. Whenever that bomb drops, it might level Tokyo Tower.

Once I did a respec for someone (this involved wiping of the old +sheet. Then handstatting EVERYTHING back on to them based on the new attributes/merits/skills/powers they selected. It was a spend of about 900 xp (I remember it was less than 1000).

It was the wrong PC. Their names were off by one or two letters.

Luckily I has done an xp spend for this poor guy an hour or so previously so I had a copy of his old sheet.

Once I used the wrong syntax for the parent() function, and instead of querying to find out which objects in the database were parented to the comlink object, I accidentally re-parented every single object in the database to the comlink object.

Thank goodness for backups.

I remember the first time I ever 'bloopered'. Was not long after I started mushing and was hanging out on a mu*'s PG area (was a game that allowed minors since it was mostly a social mu*). I was having some... fun with someone in pages while chatting with people in the PG room and... uhm, accidentally fat fingered the page command. So instead of 'p' I typed 'po' by mistake. Dropped a rather raunchy pose in the room, while a minor and the head wiz was there. Thankfully the aforementioned head wiz was cool, and it was passed off as the accident it was, but holy shit was I mortified!

Well the guest in question did immediately make themself a PC bit and joined the game. The person that the pose was meant for had way too much fun with that for the rest of the time I was on that game, every time a new person showed up they encouraged them to page me.

I have done the 'fallen asleep during scenes' before.
I have also wandered off during scenes. ADD is real. I don't really cotton to the whole 'hee hee bio break!' OOC comments 'cause, c'mon y'all, errbody's gotta pee sometimes!
...problem is that I will be like: 'well, lemme go put this stuff in the sink before I sit back down.'

'...eh, I might as well load the dishwasher while I'm at it, I bet it's not my pose yet. Everyone's been slow.'
'Shit, I haven't unloaded the dishwasher.'
And then suddenly my need to clean the whole kitchen is triggered.
Which might turn into a need to clean the floors.
Which turns into a need to clean the whole living room.
And if I'm at it, I might as well vacuum the bedroom.
And if I have to do that, I need to clean the rest of the bedroom.

So suddenly it's a few hours later and- <gestures>

As for pose bloopers, I've never mispaged/posed a TS pose, but there was one once sent to an OOC room of which I was the intended target. But my name was not in it. >.> Thank god for small favors! Still mildly terrifying.

I have had the slew of briefly-horrifying-but-later-hilarious typos. Like pees instead of peers. That one's always great. Or shit instead of shirt ('takes her shit off' is always fun after the initial "oh god no I didn't mean...").
