He was one of my favorite people. He always made you feel welcome and tried his best to see how he could include you in whatever insanity was going on. We only started chatting last year but in that time I came to really like him.
He was awesome, warm, witty and he never stopped giving me guff for liking Sondheim. I wish I had been able to spend more time with him. I wish I had known him sooner.
I hadn't spoken to him in years, but years ago, we used to talk every day. we had a couple of reunions, and he'd always say he couldn't believe that I recognized him. but I always could. for some reason his Google contact is stuck on my work email's quick references, but that's not the only thing that's made me feel like we'd have another renewal of our friendship. I thought, background, low-key, it'd be part of my life for as long as I lived. I feel like I've lost someone who kind of had patience for me--before it was a hiatus, but now it's forever.
I wish I could remember all the names I knew you under, ixokai. now you're just gonna be a permanent google chat reminder.

On random occasions, I'm looking through the member list here on MUSB and come across his name. I'll glance at the last time he logged and what his reputation is.
I often sometimes think about randomly upvoting old posts of his but, I never do.
