criticism not allowed in ad threads is only enforcing a false positive, prove me wrong

You're welcome.
We all have limitations to deal with. Mine aren't nearly as trying as yours, I'd imagine, but I don't think I've RPed in over three weeks.
Life's just that way.

@ganymede It's not a suffering olympics, we've all got unique challenges, and there are folks who have it worse than I do, too. I'm sorry you've been struggling, too. <333
-
Oh, sure, but sometimes I wish that when I feel that way it isn't for what often seems like the stupidest reasons imaginable.
Therapy. I need therapy.
-
We all need therapy. It's okay.
-
@ganymede Accepting that life is often super shitty for the dumbest reasons imaginable actually kind of helped me mentally, since it completely voids the usual self-recrimination that accompanies being ill. xD
-
Fuck me. This isn't therapy?
<goes to sit in the 'doing it all wrong' corner>
(Kidding. Before anyone wonders if that was serious.)
-
omg I laughed so hard.

@surreality <3333
Ok, I am off to get some groceries. BBL.

Step 1) Get licensed to practice in Indiana.
Step 2) I will tell JLAP I suspect you of having a substance abuse problem due to personal stresses.
You get a free therapist, the Supreme Court never has to know. Everyone wins!

You do understand, of course, that I prosecute attorneys in Ohio for ethical lapses on a semi-consistent basis, yes?
I am well-aware of where to get free therapy, sir, but it does help to accompany it with allegations of alcohol abuse.

Late to the party, but man do I miss Astrid on F&L.
I loved my Missing Limb Count. That was fun times. (Though I'm sure @Livia didn't like putting me back together all the time.)
-
@auspice You're wrong it was the best.

ETA: my favorite was when she shadow-traveled and just flobbled out of shadow onto the floor without any limbs at Jenny's feet all 'halp'

Well, I mean ... no. I thought you worked in IP!
Also, have you met our Supreme Court? There is a solid reason we were the very last state to implement IOLTA, and only because they threw a hissy fit that the legislature tried to do it over their heads. They don't deal with things. That's why we started JLAP. It goes to them, and if you can't hack it there, THEN it goes to the Supreme Court for ethical foo.
Seriously, hop the border. Come to the dark side. It's like the Wild West out here.

Unfortunately in my line of work that is considered therapy.

@paris I really really loved some of the people on F&L, even though I was unknown to the community several people took their time and effort to help me learn Changing Breed and get me included in scenes and plotlines. Some of my favorite cross vampire play ever over the years took place there.

@magee101 It was super important to me that people new to the hobby and even just new to the game were helped and made to feel welcome. I'm glad that fond memories were made there.
