About 75% of the posts in this thread have me like:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvFM-M2q9D0 Edit: oh, I guess youtube videos don't embed here. It's the 'haha I do that' vine.
I should figure out a way to talk to a doctor about it without having to explain that I saw a bunch of memes about AD(H)D on an internet forum about MUSHes, what a MUSH is, why I'm interested in that, and without it seeming like I'm seeking stimulants. Probably won't end up doing that though!

@SixRegrets Yeah see that thought process you typed out there buddy....?

ugh me ten million times over.
You know what hurts me worst out of all of those? Worse than the 'shut the fuck up stop interrupting' or 'shut the fuck up no one cares' or taking something personally even when you didn't mean to?
When you're constructing a thought and think of saying it two ways so it comes out this blended mess of a sentence. Or you even just word-swap for a word that sounds like but isn't the right word and suddenly everyone is pointing (sometimes literally) and laughing at you.
All the others I'm used to. I know people would prefer I just sit in silence in social situations and never speak. I know my presence is barely tolerated at best. But the being blatantly mocked for stumbling through words really hurts.

Can I copy-paste @SixRegrets youtube link here in reply for all of those?

Not good if you have TMJ, like I do, but then again neither is chewing ice and taking abominable care of your teeth because of depression and never going to see a dentist because they'll hate you and judge you for being a terrible garbage person who doesn't take care of her teeth or even FLOSS
like I also do

I don't have TMJ and I loathe chewing ice..
but I am long overdue on dental work because of severe dental anxiety.

I don't floss.
I honestly don't understand how people floss. Like -- are the spaces between your teeth big enough to get a little waxed string in without it shredding or getting stuck? How does it not hurt?
How do you freaks do that thing with a string and mouth-stones?

I'm staring at an ADHD self-assessment and not actually filling it out because the form is rather long and requires concentration and introspection to fill out, but when skimming it I got to a part which asks:
- When you have a task that requires a lot of thought, how often do you avoid or delay getting started?
Unfortunately, 'right now, I'm doing that literally right now' does not seem to be an option.

I got to the pharmacy today, stared at the pharmacist a moment, and said, "I forgot my prescription for Adderall again." And she said, "Oh, well, I have your migraine meds ready. You can bring it next time."
Except that I can't. I'll forget it again. And I'll have a telemedicine appointment with my doctor next week, and he'll write me another one, and I won't pick up the mail for two weeks, and then I'll have THREE slips of paper prescribing me my ADD drugs that I haven't filled yet because the government requires him to make them on paper instead of just electronically sending them to the pharmacy.
And then the pharmacist will be like, "It's throwing up a flag because you haven't filled this in awhile. Why haven't you filled it in awhile?" And I'll be like, "BECAUSE IT'S ADDERALL THAT WAS PRESCRIBED FOR ADD!" And if it's one of the newer pharmacists, they'll give me an odd look, but if it's the male pharmacist, he'll just smirk knowingly because he's familiar with this routine.
