@ThatOneDude I understand the attempted humor in that YouTube clip. But, I cringed clicking it, I cringed more when he opened his mouth for the punchline, an awkward comment to recuse himself as stranger in the car instead of, I don't know, actually breaking the ice.

At neutral places everyone I was meeting was going to anyway. Like cons. Cons are great places to meet people, so long as you don't do risky things like share rooms or the like.
