On top of all that I've fallen in love with the Deftones all over again.Yeah..There's something about the Deftones..I've loved them for years...Quarantine has definitely been an awesome opportunity to discover new music. I know I've delved down quite the rabbit hole myself. My pandora and spotify accounts are a bit scattered right now lol. Different generes everywhere. So from Deftones to Mumford and Sons, Manchester orchestra, seafret, amber run, the teskey brothers...THEN Five Finger Deathpunch and all of that, then country...lol My house is nuts right now.

Didn't know where else to put this. It's not a song or anything, it's an unlisted video I just uploaded of me testing out my new synthesizer. I'm pretty much trying to become familiar with making sounds on it and such, so during my video I'm pretty much attempting to go as deep as possible into the sound design.
I didn't touch the digital oscillators, as the sheer level of complexity when I introduce those gets insane. So I'm trying to get familiar with the analog oscillators first. Near the end I do play a little chord progression, 'cause I thought it'd sound nice.
Also I have no fucking clue how my synth got that dusty within one week, so I ordered a feather duster. I guess camera lights reveal all.

With all the Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion talk the other day, I figured I'd share this amazing mashup.

Here. Have a photo from last year's Dracula's Ball performance in Philadelphia, where I was suddenly both video tech and official band photographer (in spite of being expressly not a photographer):

Arise.
So, I've been getting on a folk music kick. I'm re-discovering music that reminds me of my first girlfriend, and I can't get enough of it. I tried to explain what it was to my partner, and she was all, like, this is Canadian country music.
And she is so very right.
Anyhow, here's a sample.
