My bio mom wrote back to me, sent pictures, would like to continue getting to know each other. Obviously more baggage there but she says she is happy and always hoped that I would find her if I wanted to.
So i am pretty overwhelmed yet again. It is good. But overwhelming.

A field owned by a friend of my sister in law's family, the seating for the ceremony? Made by him and his friends out of scrap wood the day before in an isle of trees at the edge of the field. They did rent a tent along with paying people to run a hog roast and an icecream stand but the whole thing cost a couple of thousand (pounds sterling) whilst being an amazing day.
Especially memorable was every bridesmaid either leading or carrying a happy dog.
A friend was super sweet and sent me a care package which included an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. I got ProCreate and managed to make an emote for Twitch that doesn't look like a total dumpster fire.
Today is a good day, despite being Monday 2.0.

A friend I haven't seen since I lived in Ohio (so... 12 years?!) is coming to Austin for the last weekend of SXSW (the gaming track - only 3 days, only costs $50 for the wristband). He loves Austin (he's lived here for stints before) and needs a weekend away.
Between that and knowing how stressed I've been (the 'lost my job' sitch), he decided to make it for SXSW Gaming, crash at my place, and will be paying for my wristband so that I can get out of the apartment and enjoy myself for a weekend.

Why on earth did you name it Procreate?
It was clear when we first saw the iPad that it was going to be a great tool for professionals to create awesome art. The name's a little bit cheeky, memorable, and gets people talking.

Had a phone interview yesterday. Not 'dream job' territory, but at least in 'pays better than what I was making and has benefits' which is totally 100% acceptable (more than, tbh).
Just got an email that they want an in-person interview on the 25th. Wish it was sooner, but hey!
