Actually, I'm worried for them and my friend. Last night was somewhat agonizing because I don't think this is in any fucking way healthy and my stomach hurt. I desperately do not want to see these nice people obsess over this. These are very sweet people, but the trick about cult behavior is that some people have no idea when they're drifting into it because it's exciting and makes you feel special. They wanna feel special. I get that. But...

Ugh I got ambused with a pyramid before. I would have preferred that or Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses. I can talk my way around those. This was...sigh. Not my craziest night but certainly not the most sane, either.

@Ghost Yeah, i went a couple times before i /really/ noticed, but by that time i had already tried to bring another friend, and yeah. Not my smartest moment, but I was poor and my best friends were really hyping it to me... but no they just sucked up money and have big group chants. I still get embarrassed about it, like omg.

Oh, get this.
It turned out not to be a BBQ. No grill. No burgers. No steaks.
It ended up just kinda being a dinner.

Talked to friend who didn't make it to the dinner party. He thought it was going to be about being GHOSTFACERS at B&Bs, too; not about psychic communication whatsomathingers.
He's not into it, either, and he's gonna nope out, too.
