Exalted MUSH: Shifting Sands

@Coin
I was meant the other side being the staffer who said it. Even if it is not being trumpeted here I assume he/she/it thinks they are in the right. And it is not uncommon for people to show up here or on wora in the past with a complaint about staffer x someone and get eviscerated for that complaint being unwarranted. -
It bothers me that it's a prime example of just stopping a process. If your goal is to end the process, say so. If not, you have to bridge the disconnect. If given the authority to say no, you had better learn how to do it and move things along.

Regarding NotaNumber. I have to say, yes you were wronged in someone commenting that they wanted to dock you XP for writing your background in literal poetry. That is unprofessional and you don't deserve that. We also failed in responding to your application in a timely manner. On the other hand, I'd like to nip this feud in the bud if at all possible. There's enough problems to go around without people getting hurt when nobody needs to be hurt. If you'd like to come back and try again, we'd love to have you. If not... Well, that is entirely life for the both of us.
Thank you,
-SWLiHN of Shifting Sands.

I have made a character and did not run into that kind of problem, it was hideously slow though and I am unsure why they apparently only have one staff person handling applications - there are seven on the list and that seems like something you should have more people doing.
From my experience I made a few minor fuck ups in character generation setting my +sheet, received a pretty polite response to them within a few hours of submitting... Then after fixing them had to wait something like four days to get approved despite no further changes being needed.
That said the game seems otherwise pretty solid with some good quality RP and no difficulty getting involved in plot, which is actually happening! Very light on people being awake in Euro times though.
