I finally got a formal diagnoses of the issues, mentally, that I've been having for years. I got the medicine for it and I go to look up information on how to live with it. What do I find? A bunch of webpages telling others how to live with people like me.

That sounds incredibly rough, and sadly, I think I have an idea on which one it is. NAMI and NIMH usually have pretty decent pages. http://www.mind.org.uk/ Mind was pretty good when I was overseas and the articles are still good. -
Thanks, SS. Sadly, I had to go to Tumblr. I had to wade through a lot of angsty teenagers who self diagnosed, and lots of pictures of kid's with fresh cuts and blood, but there were a few blogs that were helpful in it all.

Lady on the commute two days in a row. I know I should feel more sympathetic that your toddler is throwing hissy fits for half an hour straight because it's more annoying to you than it is to us since you have to take it all day long but damn.
Half an hour and it's not even eight in the morning yet. And you are trying to bribe him into stopping? That's called rewarding him for it. Damn.

My peeve is people who fuck up accounting in Quickbooks. Bitch, you got fired because you fucked up in the realm of millions of dollars. Don't wish me evil.

@Luna I don't know how people can fuck up Quickbooks. It's like fucking handholding for accountants. When I got out of school my first booking job was tracking by paper, T-Accounts, the General Ledger, the Journal and all of it. Pages of flipping back and forth to check and counter check everything. And then comes Quickbooks (although I think Peachtree is better).
Our accounting lady where I work now has Quickbooks and she complains because it's never doing what she wants it to do. And I'm all like 'well use it the right way...,'
In an unrelated note. My neighbors are trying to start a feud I think. Someone called the cops on them and in another situation their friend's car got towed by the towing patrol. And they think we did it. They're filing false complaints against us at the office.

@Jaded I've found CPAs don't understand Quickbooks on a detail level and Quickbooks bookkeepers don't get true double entry bookkeeping. No end of year closing entries were EVER made for this company. No one ever archived my qb files. THEY ARE OVER A GIG IN SIZE. EACH. I have 3 companies spanning over a decade each.
As for your neighbors, that sucks!! I just told a friend of mine to quit calling the cops when his neighbors are yelling at each other in their yard. They're white trash and they'll retaliate.

If you're back in the states, get in touch with whatever there is for community service sorts of things (like up here we have the crisis clinic, or 211), places you can call and be pointed at resources for help. I suggest this because at least where I am, a lot of them have low-income vets on their lists of resources for folks. It might be a resource you could look into.

One of my cats had a dental appointment yesterday. Poor kitty had three teeth pulled, including both top canines. He was loopy all day yesterday after coming home. And now the other cat refuses to acknowledge him as the same cat. She hisses and growls at him anytime he comes within ten feet. Not a HUGE deal... except at 2am when I'm trying to sleep. >.>
