I was told today that people who own Divinity Original Sin 2 on PC through Steam, should get a copy of the Definitive Edition that's going to drop in August, for free. I am not sure if there is a cut off for a purchase date but the summer sale has it for 20% off right now.

For those who do not mind having -yet another launcher- Pillars of Eternity Definitive Edition is free to Twitch Prime users today (July 3rd) only. Its DRM free but requires downloading the Twitch App.

Well it says July 2-4 so not just today. Also they will be adding new games leading up to Prime Day (Which is on July 16th) so there will likely be more games.

The upside is you don't have to download/login to the launcher immediately. If you have Twitch Prime, just login to Twitch (the website) and click 'Claim Offer' from the dropdown.

Since my launcher is on my Windows desktop and I'm often on my Macbook, this is what I do.

~~The caveat being that if you ever stop Prime, you lose access to the games as well. (Until you get Prime again.)~~ Apparently you get to keep them! Whee!
