Cheap or Free Games!

Also something to note about GMG is that any time you see a $ it's USD, so if you have to convert it's not always cheapest.
ETA: 17 games available on GoG Connect now too.

Sunless Sea is 66% off starting today. It's a great game in the Fallen London universe; unique and quite enjoyable to play.
-
And also the expansion is out today!

Endless Legend bundle for sale on Steam.
I've never played it. Anyone able to confirm whether it's worth the purchase or not?

I rather enjoyed it, myself, but I know a lot of people did not. It's hard for me to guess if you'd like it...
It's a similar turn based game in the vein of Civ, but a bit more streamlined in some places and... not in others. Combat, for example, you can either 'auto roll' like Civ, or go into a Tactics type interface to have greater control.

@Auspice I'll probably give it a whirl then. I tend to enjoy the games like Civ. Star Wars Rebellion 4 Lyfe.

I'd say it's worth trying while on sale. I liked it, but some of the people I tried to get to play with me didn't enjoy it. They also aren't big on the Civ-type games.

I would suggest getting it on sale and trying it; Steam has an under 2 hour / 2 week owned policy. That should be enough time to try it. Then if you like it, go back and buy the rest of the bundle if you really want it; the key won't be included if you already have it.
-
I didn't have all the DLC, so got all that for a nice discount. very nice that they auto subtract whatever you own from the bundle and still honor the full discount.
Thanks!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but Steam has the Mega Man Legacy Collection for $15. It includes Mega Man 1-6 so it works out to $2.50 a game. Not bad for a little bit of retro gaming fun.
-
@Misadventure It's a relative new thing for Steam, GoG does it as well.

I try Eternal Legend from time to time and I simply do not understand what I'm expected to do. Even on easy, the only reason my nation isn't ground into paste is because the other nations aren't attacking (because I'm on easy). The learning curve is a huge barrier to me, so unless I search online for tutorials I suspect I'm going to continue being stuck.
The one aspect I did understand and did quite well in was the mini-combat grid, but then I used to play Archon.
Started playing "Beyond Good & Evil", and I believe I now know where the beginning of Mass Effect came from. So far, so fun.

How so? I remember it as a game of stealth and photography with a little driving.
