Cheap or Free Games!

@Ganymede
It is definitely a game that has to be experienced to understand how good it is. I'm glad you're having fun with it. -
Rebel Galaxy on Steam is under $20 right now. It's been compared to Freelancer (with bigger ships) and player reviews say it has a Firefly feel to it. It's on my buy very very soon list.
-
@Templari
Yeah I have this on my wishlist too. I wish it was a 3D game but what I've seen of it so far makes it seem like a pretty solid game. -
Only 3 hours left on the sale but worth it if you like games like Dark Souls, steam value is $68.00 so for $23.00 isn't a bad deal:
-
So. Darkest Dungeon. I wonder how many other people have been crit slaughtered in the tutorial section and had to start over.
-
I would say a fair number.

I gave it its own thread so we could discuss it if we wanted to more thoroughly without derailing this one.

If you buy Batman: Arkham Knight on Steam right now until November 16th you get of the previous Batman games in the series free. GotY editions. (Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY, Batman Arkham City GOTY, Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate)
Of course, they now suggest you have 12 GB of Ram to play it. So there's that. It's still pretty broken.
Also TF2 hats?
It's so bad they are offering refunds no matter how long you have played. (So far only on steam).

Good Old Games is having a Big Fall Sale right now.
-
Blockstorm is free on IndieGala right now until Nov. 9th.
-
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Final Cut is free to anyone who owns the trilogy already. If you own only 1 and 2, it is more cost expedient to buy the third and then get Final Cut for free - which can be done until at least the 10th.
-
Just free if you put it out to the universe you already have the first two?
-
MK X, Shadows of Morder, and a few other games have hefty sales on Bundle Stars.
-
Well go into the most recent news for the game off of any of the store pages and there's a link to get Final Cut for free if you have all three as registered games on your Steam account. Final Cut is 44.99. If you only own 1 and 2 - you can buy 3 right now for 14.99. And then go the website to redeem for the code for Final Cut for free.
Does that answer your question?
@Saulot
I've noticed something interesting about Shadows of Mordor, since I've been playing it lately. I've started receiving optional Vendetta missions on Orcs with the descriptor that they've killed x person, who is a person off my Friends list in Steam and have also played the game. -

It answers it, but not correctly, unless buy any store page you meant on Steam and Steam only. (Checked Humble, GreenMan Gaming, and GoG and it's not in sale in any way there.) And since I was asking because you hadn't said where in the first place and looked as you suggested, no it doesn't really answer it at all.
-
Ah sorry. Yes it's a Steam thing. You have to have all three games in Steam. And in the News Section on the Store page for any of the three games, you can scroll down to a section titled Recent Updates. And in big white letters there Van Helsing: Final Cut Is Free etc etc. From there you'd click Read More and there's a link to the website where you log in with your Steam account and get your code for Final Cut.

Steam's Mid Week Madness sale has a actually quite a few nice titles out on it. Shadows of Modor, Dying Light, etc.
AHA: It's their steam machine launch sale.

Was that a timed thing? Or maybe a zone specific thing?
