We did this on a The Reach once. I still get alerts from the account. It was awesome.

But one thing is for sure. You don't have to be a great writer to make a twitter account. It is known for everything but. So not sure why that would even be thought of as a problem.

TIL twitter is the medium of choice for great writers.

        Silly @Misadventure.

I can honestly say I would never have an IC twitter, but I also can say I don't have a twitter of any variety.
I would tend to put IC twitter in the same category as the LARPers who maintain IC-ness at Steak-n-Shake after the session is over.

I'm not even active on my RL Twitter (and I work in marketing!) but if several players on my game wanted to do IC twitters dammit I would figure out a good way to stream it somewhere on the game wiki because that's fun.

Other then the harpies, I just enjoy the idea of seeing someone tweet "I love redheads #juicebox" after feeding or "Rats ate my guests today again. #necropolis-problems"

What is obvious to you may not be obvious to me and vice versa.

Its actually pretty epic. Also a good way to keep up with things on the game when I'm not logged on. Too bad that didn't work out.

I sort of missed the use of forums when I started mushing. I was playing on IRC on a game that used both wikis and forums. The OOC part of the forum made for the best way to discuss mechanics, rules, possible game changes. But the best part was the IC section, which was basically a Praxis run IC forum server, counted as Elysium (it was a vtm game), and it could get both hilarious and nasty and petty.

Another thing that was fun on the Reach was the CraigsList page.

"Excuse the hell out of you. He's a bag of dicks. I'm a carefully curated box of cocks." -- to @GirlCalledBlu upon being misrepresented.
