First photos from Stargate: Origins

My 'ohnofraud!' radar went off so fast when I got a 'Your order is preparing to ship' notification from Walmart (esp. since it was going to my old address) that I didn't notice the last 4 digits of the card number are not a card I own at all.

So even though it was just a package of cookies I now think it was someone trying to do something nice for me and my panic on the CANCEL button may have been a bit quick (though, I mean, it was going to the wrong place). Derp.

But hooray for the 'gotta stop fraud!' reflex of adulthood.

This is a big undertaking. More than I could do (mostly due to schedule + lazy). Good luck, ES!

Just woke up from a night-terror, so I can use the distraction. I had started to google a few stretches before bed- gonna look at this active isolated stretching.

The trick is going to be to remember to make myself do it.

If it’s not another centaur then they probably need to hold the sling that helps the more human person stick in the correct place without anyone throwing out their back (can you tell I’m old). If it’s another centaur then you need them for balance so that they don’t have even more of the falling off/imbalance problem that a lot of horses have, which I would assume would be even worse with a creature super awkwardly top heavy (yay Animal Science major. I’ve seen more animal species fuck and jerked off more different kinds of animals for the purpose of semen collection than most people want to know. Large quadrupeds like horses, cattle, and hogs falling off of things because they’re super awkward is totally a thing.)

I honestly never considered how much a problem horses would have staying balanced. I just sort of figured evolution would've gotten them where they needed to go. >.>

But I mean, looking at photos of centaurs (as if they were a for real thing), the positioning to even grab hold of something to stay balanced would be awkward af.

... guys, what do centaurs do with their hands during sex? I'm going to guess someone here has TS'd centaur sex and has had to deal with this conundrum.

Help me out. I'm tired and this has me flummoxed. (Or just chime in to laugh at me a lot for the weird places my brain goes when I'm sleepy.)

For my commute to work, I had been walking to one bus stop, getting on the bus, transferring to a second bus, then walking to work from there. Repeat going home. Total trip? About 2.2 miles walking and 3 hours total commute (per day).

I found recently that by walking to a further bus stop from my apartment (1.5mi roughly vs. 1mi roughly), I increase the total walking to 3mi, but cut down the time to 2 hours per day.

It's been hard, but it's doable. The hardest part of the day is the first half mile. I hate it. Getting out of the apartment to get started is the single worst part of my entire day. I suck at self-motivation, it hurts, my legs scream at me. By the time I make it to the bus stop, I'm fine. Some days, I'm able to jog or run portions of the 1.5mi home.

But that first half mile is brutal. I know I should stretch first, but... pathetic as this sounds: I don't know wtf stretches I would even do.

I miss Fallon on SerenityMUSH. I played her 2002-2004ish (or somewhere in that window). Her background was she had been a pilot for the Browncoats who was the sole survivor of what was supposed to be a run on an Alliance base and the intel got leaked. She woke up in a hospital, years later, with a cybernetic leg and was salty af about it.

Through a lot of work and with a couple people I recruited to the game, plus a couple I met on the game, I got a ship and crew going. I was also really good at that iteration of H-Space (the .txt file I wrote of a 'how to fly' guide made it to their website last I saw: when I played, the game had no site, I just emailed the file around to interested parties) which helped us get there.

I've told the story before of the how & why I left. But until I did, I loved my crew. I loved the stories I told. I loved the fuck out of that character. She's what really set off my joy for playing pilots. I'd had another on WNOHGB prior to her, but Fallon... Fallon left most of the duties of running the ship to HalfJack, but they really ran it together. She really only cared about flying. When they were groundside, she spent most of her time in some bar drinking, smoking, and bitching about how much her leg bothered her. She had no fucks to give, but she was fair to her crew and loyal as fuck to them, too.

I remember one day the 'game' on the WHO list got set to 'pick a song for the character below you' and the two songs I saw that day for Fallon were George Thorogood's One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer and Flogging Molly's Factory Girls. Had a 'hell yes, that about sums it up' moment.

A buddy and I used to go back to the idea of 'kitten therapy' often, ala this scene from Scrubs.

I've been to one of those 'cat cafes' once and silly as the idea may be, it is kind of magical. I do recommend it if you ever get the chance. The cats aren't all kittens, but generally about half of them are up for adoption and the other half are permanent residents who love hanging out with people and being pet and played with.

These are shiiiiiiiit. I had one about a decade ago. The obgyn told me then that the average woman has 1-2 cysts in her life that are just omgfuckingpainful. I sympathize, fo sho. Esp. combined with the rest.
