As is tradition, updated with new Spirit Lake fellow. Yay, my second MU ever!

My crotchety fellow will have been born in the town a long time ago, but had been a little over ambitious and decided to whisk away to city-life for better opportunities. Unfortunately he'd struck out one too many times and after two decades away from the home turf, there's nowhere else he's got to go. He doesn't know many of these younger faces around and he's pretty behind on the times.

Will probably enjoy digging in a musty used bookstore, give side-eye to the youths on instagram and take his coffee black. Also still uses a flip phone.

@roz Neither of those things will be a problem when there is HILARITY TO BE HAD.

I feel as though playing a grouchy fellow passed his mid-life crisis is my calling for this game. That and having a smoking problem that makes his voice all grrggrrggrrrr.

Uh-oh, I'm breaking the rules.

it's really hard to get him out of the fridge because of his monstrous size.

I just completed a two year long journey of getting my GED, which involved a lot of things I just didn't think I was ready for. The work needed to play catch up, having to kick myself into a proper schedule for classes, acquiring the work ethic to see it through to the end. It was scary, very scary.

For the first time in a long time I feel like I'm a functional person. I feel like I've proved that to myself. I love that. I love that a lot.

@cari I'm gonna miss the hell out of you guys too! Everyone in Solace was and is great fun to bounce off of for light hearted fun and the serious stuff.

I'm glad we could get some impactful scenes in before Daemon kicked it.

Somebody was paging me to ask if I was available for a scene awhile back and without thinking I responded "Holy cannoli that's a spicy meatball"

I paged them "mav" to cover my tracks and then we continued on as if that never happened.

@apos I'm actually very glad you said that. I only learned that this hobby was a thing about a year ago, which was also when I signed up to play in my first game. I was kinda blown away by the fact that shared stories and RP existed in this kind of sphere for so long. I can see how difficult it is to get the foot in the door and also stay in it as well, it becomes a real test of wills after sometime.

But personally I like it. I also realize I'm half the age of most folks who have been in this hobby for 20+ years, but it feels like it's got a lot of interesting places to go.

Really appreciate you throwing updates out, I'm excited to see how this version does!

Currently only playing Arx as it's my first foray into the MU world, but beforehand I played a lot on old roleplay forums. Specifically for stuff dedicated to Warhammer 40k (Dark Heresy) and Warcraft related stories!
