Maybe this is an acquired taste thing though, and if I trained myself to "see" it better it would be helpful. In theory I love the idea. In practice I think my brain is scattered enough that separating things out futher just isn't helpful to me. I do however really love and make use of name/phrase highlighting.

This is also the reason that I don't use them. For some reason, I just work better with a thousand different things in front of me all sort of cluttered into one monstrous pile that my brain somehow parses into something elegant and beautiful. I didn't even use spawns when staffing, but I think the two-windows thing helped to at least keep that somewhat organized.

For instance, when researching, I will never have just one book open at a time. I will have like, eighteen, all stacked on the desk (probably open), working my way through the threads of the thing I'm following. I couldn't do it one book at a time, like some of my friends. They like, have all their shit on the shelf and just go to it when they need it.

How does that even work?

I am 100% behind the Binks thing, to the point of aggravating my friends and the person I saw the new one with. If you read any of the stuff about Lucas trying to use Ring theory in film, it makes even more sense (the reddit thread touches on that with the 'rhyming' concept and how Darth Binks is the necessary rhyme to Yoda).

It would really be a shame if that's what they were going for and ultimately chickened out of.

I checked just now, and you can also ignore an entire category. One good and easy way to keep it off your radar and from filling up your new-post notifications.

Not sure if this is a skin thing or not, but with Slate I haven't been able to use the buttons at the top of the editing box, I just click on them and nothing happens. This has been going on since about the time the new search bar was put in, but this is the first time I was annoyed enough to say something about it.

That is one of the things that always got me, folks running around with stats like Int boosted to 8-9 permanently. Maybe my interpretation is wrong, but at that level trying to deal with normal people would be frustrating at best.

If you consider that 5 is supposedly the limit of purely human ability in terms of Intelligence, one would assume that would be true of even people with Int 5, given the frequency with which extreme intelligence seems to come paired with one sort of social dysfunction or another (whatever its source).

Since nobody's really interested in enforcing that either, it'd be difficult to make a case for doing it towards those with Int 8-9. There's also the argument that if you have enough Mind to bump your Int to 8 or 9, you also have enough Mind to recognize and adjust yourself not to suffer those dysfunctions at the same time. Edit: Which is one of the reasons it's so much of a pain to push for mental attributes provoking Disbelief. People are rarely using their Int 9 to do anything a normal person would actually disbelieve.
