James Wan has really come along as a director, I'm not surprised there's great reviews for the film. I suspect though that it's going to be like other DC films either high praise on critics side or audience side and low praise on the other.

I think they were already short changing the film when they lowered its box office estimates by, I think?, about 20 million for its opening weekend.

Anyone who has been eyeing some of the Tell Tale Games and considering buying them, the company is delisting games for purchase in Steam but remain available if you have purchased them.

So if you want anything you better grab it.

Everyone I know who has bought the game and have been playing feel like they've been required to pick up the permanent xp booster beyond the cost of the base game. The chief complaint is without it, the game is repetitively MMO grindy.

I would have loved to see someone like Byung-Hun Lee playing Danny Rand as Iron Fist.

This. I think that S3 Daredevil was the best of all three seasons so far. And I loved the Punisher arc in S2. I am going to admit I think that D'Onofrio stole every scene he was in. He owned the Kingpin identity and has ruined any other actor attempting the role anywhere else for me, for the foreseeable future.

So Star Trek Discovery is being chased by the cancellation bear. Season 2 may not lead into a 3.

This theory that fans were disappointed there was no D4 reveal seems to be more recent, with the rumor that a D4 teaser was made but not shown at Blizzcon.

Most of the people I talk to in the industry and the anger and upset they have are because the big capstone reveal was a mobile game targeted at people least likely to attend a Blizzcon event, and because this mobile game is being created by NetEase. Reskin possibilities aside its one of the mobile developers notorious for deep microtransaction practices in their games that target pay-to-win players and people who do not mind spending a lot of money to get ahead in a game.

Yeah I caught that too but I focused on the substance of the game and the way it was designed. Once I have the game, how it plays and the fun I get out of it will be more important than what a pitch video to get people to invest said.

While it can be a crapshoot at times, some of the best RPGs of the past few years started on Kickstarter. This one has some promise, I've already invested.

I read today that Luke Cage is also cancelled. Word is that Disney will be cancelling their Netflix Marvel shows once their contract obligations are done so they can be relaunched on the Disney Play exclusive streaming channel that will come out in late 2019.

I'm drinking tonight.

What's funny is going into a mythic under-geared and out DPSing some of the people in better gear than me as a tank.

Yeah I know people who are going to buy it day 1 so long as the game is not altered prior to release to remove the dialogue.
