Well, given that Fort Rozz has Kryptonians in their ensemble, it begs the question a little more. But essentially, yes.

I think they're going to end up doing their own General Zod-esque reveal as well. That was the vibe I was getting from the last episode. I'm enjoying it enough so far. My only complaint with the most recent episode was obvious wirework was obvious. I think that will get better though as the show gets more popular and the budget gets bigger.

In other news the cancellation bear is chasing Minority Report and The Player, for those who watch.

What is your favorite game to TT, as ST or player?

My favorite games to DM/GM for are Star Wars and Shadowrun. I have an obsessive amount of knowledge about both from constant book reading/source material farming. As a player I don't mind what game - as long as I can get into the character.

Do/did you play in a tabletop game now or in the past? Yes. We play every Friday.

What games(s) do/did you play as tabletop?
AD&D 2nd Ed (Various Settings), D&D 3.5, Star Wars WEG, Star Wars Legacy, Runequest/Hawkmoon/Stormbringer, Middle Earth, Call of Cthulu, Shadowrun 2nd, Shadowrun 3rd, Battletech, Mechwarrior 3rd, Earthdawn 2nd Ed., Toon, Middle Earth, Dragonlance 5th Age, Ghouls and Graveyards 1st Ed, Cyberpunk 2020 v3.0, Robotech/Macross, Rifts, OWOD Mage/Werewolf/Wraith, Aeon/Trinity, Starfire, Thieves World, Bubble Gum Crisis, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Trail Blazers Western RPG, Paranoia, Hot Rods and Gun Bunnies, DragonAge RPG, Firefly RPG, Blades In The Dark, Game of Thrones RPG, 7th Sea, GURPS, MiB

Are/were you the GM/ST/DM at your tabletop? I am the active GM for 80% of our playtime throughout a given year.

Would you tabletop if you had the opportunity? We add people as they come and go.

Do you have the opportunity but choose NOT to tabletop? I have one group. It is hysterically and disfunctionally wonderful.

      Misc:
We meet with such clockwork regularity it has been joked that we should apply for some kind of church tax exempt status for our play-space.

I have not played Munchkin sadly. But I have a friend who just bought every boxed set for it that exists. For way too much money.

Another one we have fun with is Nuclear War.

Of course then there's the staple Axis and Allies if you're into simulated war gaming. Not that anyone will play it with me anymore in my gaming group.

    • RE: Good or New Movies Review

Cooties is an Elijah Wood zombie-esque movie that came out late last year that's worth taking a look. I finally got around to watching it and was entertained as far as zombie flicks go.

Z for Zachariah just came out. It is one I've been waiting for and was a fairly decent representation of the book. It wasn't exact - some story elements were changed but the ones that mattered were there. Worth watching if you read the book and enjoyed it.

I'm also going to toss the Ryan Reynold's movie The Voices up recommendation. I know it's a hit or miss kind of movie, one of those love it or hate it kind of movies. I believe that's because it deals with the other side of schizophrenia, (not Beautiful Mind) which can be a tough subject to tackle without coming off as mocking. I found the movie entertaining and worth watching.

Look into We Didn't Playtest This in its various incarnations. And Exploding Kittens is good fun. Both are card games.

If you want to lose your friends try Diplomacy.

As a publisher they do have a wide catalog of great games that have come out. And they don't seem like the type of publisher that does some of the more shady things like EA - pushing dev teams to hurry through products just to get it out. By all perceived impressions they value the developers who they publish for and value the games they put out.

And it is the dev teams they have access to that gives me interest. Can you imagine what a game might turn out if they handed some of the development of a new game over to Obsidian Entertainment or Taleworlds. The possibilities.

Yep! I posted the link to it in the cheap games forum too since we didn't have a game news forum. This is great news, imo.

I quit watching Gotham just prior to the episode Everyone Needs A Cobblepot. I like the young Riddler and young Penguin but the show was tapering off and couldn't keep my interest when there were other shows to watch with my limited time. My brother said the new season has picked things up but I suspect the rise of villains (I think that's what they're calling it?) is because of fading ratings.

Only 3 hours left on the sale but worth it if you like games like Dark Souls, steam value is $68.00 so for $23.00 isn't a bad deal:

The new Supergirl show - originally slated for CW but was taken as a showrunner for CBS's entry into superhero television. Did anyone pick up the pilot? What are your thoughts?

Great synopsis on the clans Tragedy. I really liked the write up for the Nosferatu. You really hit on what made playing mine on RfK pretty damn fun and entertaining.

      Gotta love the creepy.

Yeah I have this on my wishlist too. I wish it was a 3D game but what I've seen of it so far makes it seem like a pretty solid game.

It is definitely a game that has to be experienced to understand how good it is. I'm glad you're having fun with it.

Well about half of the ones on your list I already have on DVD or have seen before. Brick was the stand out that I hadn't when I was checking at IMDB to get a sense of what I might like.

Based on @darksabrz remark and the place on @Sundown 's list I grabbed Brick and just finished watching it. It was real hard to remember that movie was using high school age kids for a noir. But it was very well done. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The music fit, the cast did a great job - fuck that was a great movie.
