Guys. If you ever, EVER have an alarm company tell you that the monitored alarm panel you have connected to your fire system in your home, does not require two lines of communication, get a new alarm company. They are lying.

In addition - digital phone lines/VOIP are not reliable. If your system uses them pay extra for the cellular module.

Its kind of like Crusader Kings meets Europa Universalis, with it leaning towards more of the latter. The gameplay is fairly solid and there are some new systems. Overall it's pretty fun for what I got to play of it. I was also told that it is actually what was created out of Paradox's Rome DLC for EU.

And so as not to double post:

For anyone on the fence about Days Gone. My initial impression of the game was that it was The Walking Dead: Daryl Edition; but that impression does not hold after you get a couple of hours into the game. There is a good story hook that you hit and after that, it improves. I will add that while there is a lot of borrowing for gameplay elements from TLOU, I think the gunplay in Days Gone is actually better.

So far the story is not comparable to HZD, it really has no strong hooks.

The comparison to The Last of Us is pretty common among my friends who are playing it. Even had one say that it felt like TLOU: Daryl Dixon edition.

So a European game retailer might have leaked that The Last of Us 2 will be out on September 27th.

No confirmation but it is an interesting tidbit for those waiting for the game.

I have the graphic novels and comics for this. It's very good. I hope they don't mess it up. Karl Urban looks like a good casting so far.

It looks great but there are my two takeaways:

1. Never trust an EA SW game without a gameplay review.
2. Respawn promised no microtransactions and no multiplayer shenanigans.

If the gameplay reviews look good and the promise holds. I may end up buying my first game from EA since 2009.

So. Hellboy.

My review is this: The only thing enjoyable about it was David Harbour as the big red man himself. He really did totally own that role. They also did a great job with the depictions of this iteration's bad guys and villains to fight.

The rest of it was...not really all that memorable. While I was not expecting much, the overall story was pretty derivative and generic. The pacing was all over, and it felt like they tried to throw in an encyclopedia worth of exposition throughout a lot of the movie which only contributed to that feeling of disjointed pacing. I think they could have better spent the time information dumping on some character development, instead.

Unless you are a super fan for Hellboy, catch this one on Amazon or Netflix after the dvd release.

From what I understand he'll be making appearances on RAW but his return is mostly for the WWE to push some PPV events using his name, and Cena is there to help bring up some of the other talent who are going to get pushed into the spotlight.

I'm not sure how much ring time that they are going to be able to get for him though. The Duke Nukem movie and the Bumblebee sequel are both supposed to start filming later this year and into early next year. And towards the end of the year might be occupied making the press junket tour for the Doctor Doolittle movie that he's in with RDJ that is supposed to come out around Christmas.

Now I am not sure how much time the press stuff for a movie takes but I remember that all this stuff seriously cut into Dwayne Johnson's ring time when he was making the transition between careers so I am presuming the same thing may happen here.
