@Pandora I'll be marrying mine as well. And I met him on a MUSH. My mother still hasn't a clue. It helped a little when I showed her what a MUSH was, but not much. She still worried about it from the time I said I was moving until I got there and after. (Okay, so moving 16 hours didn't help.) Now she's happy, but that may be because we're engaged and expecting and she loves nothing more than being Nannie.

I will say this though, if my parents knew half the stuff I got up to on the internet as a young teen, even with dialup, I'd never have made it to get married and procreate as they very well may have strangled me.

Being pregnant is not a miracle. It's pretty much just being exhausted and miserable for months on end. And next person that says something about being all happy and thrilled and feeling great while pregnant, I might have to stab them in the eye. But finals are done. Barely. I miss coffee. Just a random rant I had to get out since I don't want to whine at the SO about it.

Argent, Baby Magpie, and myself are all well. We didn't lose power and as of yesterday the boil water notice was lifted.

I'm thankful for my fiance, the baby we have on the way, the job I found I can do at home while our child grows, and the man that has made it possible for me to settle into a more traditional role in the household and actually appreciate what I do. Moving halfway across the country was the best thing I ever did and I'm grateful every day. Now to just find some games to play!

I'm behind for a multitude of reasons. But I want to thank Surr for coming forward and tell her I personally don't blame her. While I continue to be hurt by a lot of the stuff that was spread about, I put the blame on the person doing the talking and spreading and not the people who did/do believe it, including you @surreality.

I started streaming again yesterday. I had forgotten how great the community I've become a part of is and how much fun I have just playing game with those same people. It's a bit of positive I've really needed and so I'm totally grateful. So, yeah, Twitch and Destiny 2. These are things I'm totally loving at the moment.

@Luna Yeah, a lot of them were pretty great. Message has been passed so that Jack can be pointed to the thread. Maybe he'll pop by to say hello.

Why is your dog barking at 5am? Why has it been barking for an hour? Fuck you neighbors. Your dogs don't need to be out all day and night when they bark at every leaf that swirls into their path. We live on post, where the houses are close enough together to spit on your next door neighbor's windows from your own. Just stop it.

I'm grammar and spellchecking the wiki between work and school right now. So, if anyone finds anything that needs addressed, please let me know. I'm not that great at wiki and learning in order to add new stuff and make it look somewhat decent, so any tips there would also be appreciated. Thanks, guys! (Disclaimer: I am not staff and in no way speak for them.)

@Darinelle I think there's a free cutting class deal on there (craftsy). I am terrible at the uniform thing. My bread usually looks pretty good. I managed to braid challah perfectly once and I took a pic of that to send it to my mother I was so proud of the thing. The thing that currently eludes me is making the scallops on a pie crust look uniform. Tastes great, but not as pretty as I want it to be. Stupid pies. Ah well, taste is what matters. Pastry school would be a blast though!

Also, nail polish. We will not discuss the number of colors I have, and those neat patterned nail strips. (insert girly squee here, followed by head down in shame).

@Wizz That isn't a bad idea. It could be fun. Just make it the BBC version.

@Usekh Yeah... I have these random moments of baking and end up giving away pies and cookies and brownies to soldiers because I want to make them, but I really don't want the expanding hips that would accompany it.

@silentsophia I don't know that you really could have done much to stop him when he had people on staff making excuses for him and all but encouraging his bad behavior. As you were not staff, you really shouldn't add that to your list of baggage. Let that one go.

I have come to accept this and find it now a rather charming aspect of your personality. Like a kitten with too many toys.
