I don't know when they updated this, but Dogmeat in my newest game is simply called "Dog".

Haunted Memories Changeling Sphere. It took players to want to finish the storyline, but finish it did. No regrets.

Plot twist, The Cryptkeeper is in the movie, but it's M. Night Shyamalan.

      Or at least his career.

I like the side quest where your son gets kidnapped and you look for him. It would have been really cool if that had the depth of choice that a main quest would have, especially Like the one in New Vegas.

    • RE: Inspirational Music

I pick a video game OST to fit my mood of the moment.

Even though I don't like Eve Online, the music I have from it is something I can listen to over and over. Portal 2 was my go-to coding music for a long while. Nothing with words. I have enough time reading without someone speaking (in tunes) around my head.

That's what I said. Why are we talking about this, again? Warma's Romance Advice for Nerds? You and Cirno should start a podcast.

Sports, Movies, Television, Music, and other forms of mainstream entertainment. Sometimes Fashion. There are plenty of topics here in the States where trivia is considered a bonus. I live in a city where the words "oh, is there a game today?" is worth social shunning and "I'm just not that into sports" is losing the chance at a second date.

"I watch game of Thrones" is no different than "I play games with the fellas", which is how I couch my game-playing tendencies. It helps that the games I play are board games.

Playing computer games used to be similar. Now it's at the very least acceptable, if not taken as a bit of a waste of time by busy people. Besides, are you going to have a continued relationship with someone you hide your hobbies from? If you're just in it for "dat ass", it's not going to come up anyway.

Friday the Thirteenth, The Series. I just liked it. It wasn't great, but it wasn't trying to be.

I might have watched Tales from the Crypt more if it wasn't for the screechy muppet. The Twilight Zone would have felt the same if Rod Serling announced each of the episodes while dressed like Flippo the Clown and kept winking at the camera.

The same way you do in WoD.

You don't until someone whines about it, then you do.

Sorry, a little bit of bitterness about people on games, doncherknow?

      THE NOn-MAskable INterrupt

A non-maskable interrupt (NMI) is a hardware interrupt that cannot be ignored by standard interrupt masking techniques in the system. It is typically used to signal attention for non-recoverable hardware errors. (Some NMIs may be masked, but only by using proprietary methods specific to the particular NMI.)

In computer terms, "cannot be made to shut up".

    • RE: New Comic/Superhero Themed MU*

      @Bobotron

I liked the X-Men movies. Even the last one, with the exception of saying how so-and-so was a "class three". That came out of nowhere, with no foundation or explanation. The movies were watchable, occasionally funny, great setups for action pieces. Were they cinema classics? Not by a long shot. Were they cringe-worthy? Maybe a little at times. But they were the best superhero movies to come out since Christopher Reeves' Superman. I enjoyed all three, and would watch them again if someone offered dinner and a movie.

(I realize that Tim Burton's Batman movie was first, but I didn't think that was near as good nor as superhero-y as The X-Men.)

You know what wasn't good? Any movie starring Wolverine. "The Wolverine" especially, and that movie had such a good premise to be about how Mr. Claws is so far out of his element that he almost repeatedly dies, mixing the Superhero genre with the Asian Revenge Cinema genre. But no, it's some schlock based on a horrible comic storyline. I can't believed I paid more than a dollar to see that.

I understand we're going to get a movie where Batman and Superman do some stupid, dick-waving shit entirely as a vehicle to introduce Wonder Woman. Probably also in Cleveland.

I just want to play mirror-universe Superman. With a goatee. Is this okay? He'd be bitter and sulky and therefore not evil per se, just amoral.

Shield is the one with the giant floating base, right?
