If you have Hulu, though, you should really watch the series.

This is, in fact, how I know it’s good.

I normally skip the credits but watching the Chibi Titans dance differently each season is fun.

Season 3 is my favorite, if only for "Riding the Dragon," which is possibly the best spoof on RPGs I've ever seen. (Also, horribly accurate.)

I noticed that these characters all come from Raven’s campfire horror story, too. I haven’t started Season 3 yet, but “random with call backs” is fun.

      We're back.

Sure, it took a lot of pushing from Echoes in the Mist, but anyone who wants live weather and live "is the moon visible?", follow the directions at the original Github location at the first post in this thread.

      Thanks.

No, stupid other atheists. There is a difference between supporting people with beliefs and supporting the beliefs they hold.

      Sigh.

What are we doing this time?

So, Teen Titans Go. Yeah, it’s pretty good.

When Movie Bob started reviewing Teen Titans Go! to the Movies with despondency about all the meta that Go! brought to the field of wacky cartoons I was sure he was going to pan it throughout, but about halfway through his review he effortlessly went from cringing at the kid-focused Titans to praising its creativity and delightful satire. “3 1/2 Stars” is a sincere recommendation from Mr. Chapman.

Going to see which streaming service has it.

Also men's business wear just has more layers and is overall warmer and the thermostat is generally set in deference to that.

I would wear fewer layers if I could, but whatcha gonna do.

Sure, the day I need to get dental work done is a perfect time for my car to die.

      Nnnnhhh.

That's a real kick in the teeth.

(I'm sorry I heart you don't hurt me)

UPDATE: Someone stole my catalytic converter. Cut it right out of the exhaust system. In the middle of the night. In my garage bay. Next to two much more expensive cars.

(edit: But that was a funny pun. I lol'd.)

Be careful. I've actually heard of people who do it like this:

      *Steal <part> from less-expensive car
      *Wait a few weeks
*Steal brand-new replacement <part> from same car

I have changed my parking for now from “shared parking garage” to “on street”. The weather is good enough, so I will hope that the additional street traffic will dissuade anyone from doing this again.

Heh. Yeah, it's a rather unfortunate name for what's really a great art app. XD

      Unfortunate?

      From their FAQ:

Why on earth did you name it Procreate?

It was clear when we first saw the iPad that it was going to be a great tool for professionals to create awesome art. The name's a little bit cheeky, memorable, and gets people talking.

      I love these guys.

So I hear that Captain Marvel is alright.

So, Captain Marvel in her current incarnation is one of my favorite comics characters. And as a diehard member of the Carol Corps?

      Higher, Further, Faster, More!

I now want to believe that Captain Marvel is a fan of Daft Punk.

Edit: I just learned that Friday was International Women Day. I cannot for a moment believe the movie release date was a coincidence.

I think WB just doesn't want someone in a wheelchair as a lead role.

I’d love to see what they would do with Xavier, then.

No, I think the kind of action movies these are, a wheelchair character would be much harder to write for. For all it’s action, the X-men movies are a lot more philosophical.

I know this is 20th C. Vs. WB, but if they wrote Gordon more like, say, Sharon Carter but with a personality, I think they would be fine.

@faraday Don't get me wrong, I get that. It's a problem of people getting burned for so long on games, or seeing it happen, that trust out of the gate is a hard thing to give.

To speak for Faraday, but also translate, this concept is alien to her for almost her entire online career. And because of that I’m going to support the shit out of her attempts at keeping it that way.

That’s not to say I haven’t tried on many occasions to explain this to her, but Faraday has done well with her world view so sees no reason to adjust it.

I can’t say this is wrong, it does mean, however, in discussions with her you have to adjust to HER world view. She’s not going to understand our experience.
