I didn't mean you, hun. But a lot of other people seem to be interested in picking everything in the OP's first post apart and then picking apart everything everyone else says and... it's kind of becoming a self-perpetuating, never-ending thing.

I think people should be less worried about how an apology is given - public versus private, wording, etc - and just be happy people are willing to say they're sorry when they fuck up. Right now people are just picking nits over this entire thing and it's getting to become pretty ridiculous.

This year it is just going to be my two boys and myself at home for Thanksgiving, so we're going to be simplifying everything. Instead of a huge dinner just for the three of us, most of which would probably go to waste, we're going to do a small roasted chicken from Walmart's deli department, some stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes and so on and so forth. Not a conventional Thanksgiving dinner but I am more than fine with this.

Tonight I am going to be going out with my boys, both of whom are adults, and we're going to be going out for a little bit. I love it when we do stuff together, even if it's something as simple as just walking to the store, and I know tonight will be fun.

I hate it when people treat a temporary change to someone's looks as being WORLD ENDING and OMGHOWCOULDYOU!?!?

Case in point, I finally broke down and gave myself a buzz cut just to get rid of all the dry/damaged/oily hair and start over with a healthy head of (hopefully curly!) hair. Most of my friends have been pretty supportive but several people act like I've tried to kill God or something. Sheesh. Hair grows back and this is the only time I plan on doing this, people. Get the eff over it! >.<

I sometimes use group chat in OW if I group with a few people from my friends list - those being people I met through the game - but if I group with people I play with more regularly then I vastly prefer Curse. Discord is okay but, like I said in my previous post, I love the features Curse has.

I prefer to use Curse over pretty much any other voice chat, especially when playing games. It works like Skype in that you can make group calls and all that but is optimized to work while gaming. No banner ads, no CPU-hogging and all that, plus there are a lot of nice extra features, like add-on management, game sync and guild features. That said, I'll see if my friends would like to try it out if only to give an opinion on it after some use.

Unfortunately it looks like any of the FCs I'd want to play as are taken already. Will keep an eye out, see if they open later.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but Steam has the Mega Man Legacy Collection for $15. It includes Mega Man 1-6 so it works out to $2.50 a game. Not bad for a little bit of retro gaming fun.

That happened to me, once. I was playing a game with a friend while he streamed and we were talking via Skype at the same time. One of his viewers said 'either that's a woman or a per-pubescent boy'. Tyler and I wound up having a good laugh over that.

ETA: As for the phone call, had that happen to me as well, once. I answered and the telemarketer on the other end asked to speak to my mother or father. I told him I was the mother. Poor guy about tripped over himself verbally while trying to apologize to me!

Now I want a cup of chai and all I have is Constant Comment, which is good but isn't chai.

Hehe. That's what I was going to say.... minus the tea washing. I don't do that one.

And sorry for not giving mine right off the bat. I tend to hold back on advice and stuff because people (not here but on other forums) have gotten mad at me for giving such without their okay so I tend to hold back on giving it until the person/people in question give the okay.

It might be a case of you brewing it with water that's too hot, maybe? Not sure if that's it or not. Could share my tip on how to brew a perfect cup of green tea if you guys would like to try.
