Something where people actually hang out on the grid and organically roleplay would be nice! Was that mentioned already? I bet it was. If so, I support this objective 100%.

RE: Diversity Representation in MU*ing
As a black person who has recently marked their 15th year in this hobby, I find that wizzes love to reject your charbit or just straight up ban you if your char is black and they don't feel like having too many black charbits. That could be a factor.
I honestly prefer that to the long, agonizing discussions where the wizzes explain to me that my charbit is Not Thematic, Breaks Theme, or simply does not Mesh with the vision they had for the game because in this setting all the black people are somewhere over there, I guess, but not Here, and your insistence on playing one absolutely 100% is borne of gamebreaking theme destroying malice, because who would want to play a black person, anyway?
I used to dunk on Shang and other sex games but at least they don't subject you to a full background check and interview session for having the temerity to rp as a black person, and I really appreciate that.

RE: Diversity Representation in MU*ing
@HelloProject
I just realized white people are proscribing the racial makeup of their games and justifying it by saying that they just want to ensure the games are Inclusive.
So... You, as a white person, are enacting Inclusivity... by telling me what to play.
????
It is also worth noting that certain forms of Pretend are allowed, but other forms are not.
I have had people calmly say they don't like roleplay with black characters to my face. All sorts of reasons are given: they find my character disturbing, they aren't into that sort of thing (as if we HAVE to Ts), they find my character theme breaking and distracting, too sexual...there's always something.

I don't hate or fear anyone for having gender dysphoria.
I doubt anyone here is judging you for your private feelings. They're upset because of the actions you take by continuing to post TERF talking points.
Based on attitudes like that, I recently concluded that people prefer Mu*ing as a small, obscure, sparsely populated hobby because they can be bigots in peace. Well, that and other things, such as the unique demographics of this hobby, the, um, Content, and so on.
We could market it to zoomers and black geeks such as myself, HELLO Project, and so on. I know lots of black people who roleplay on Twitter and Discord and could be acclimated to these kinds of games, and make Mu*ing popular and active but then....

Fun people let me get them wet, and drop totally-not-bat-poop on their heads, as well as rocks.
TY for letting me play with you.
I've grown out of worrying about people being deferential and impressed by my characters and don't mind being the recipient of bad luck like these sorts. I even encourage people to use my characters as the targets of their amusement all the time, but few accept the offer. They often seem worried I might retaliate, which is silly because I use these games to practice freewriting and do not really enmesh myself with the nature of my characters too much. They're no different from the ones in my published work.

A Kropotkin reference on this, our MSB?! I should have talked politics many years ago, it seems.
Hello, do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior, Eugene V. Debs?

it would be extremely difficult for even the most steadfast American communist to have insertion into the NVA
Reminds me of when I say something to people like "We should improve the social safety net so people don't die as much" and then they go "Oooh! Listen to you! if you don't like it here, why don't you MOVE TO NORTH KOREA!?"
And I'm like "I would if they would let me."
Mind you, I fully realize why they don't want americans traipsing around there nonchalantly; that's how you end up with a CIA cell wreaking havoc and trying to do a Color Revolution.
My dude; this is getting very tiring. Literally no one is buying your act.
Pardon?

I took a fantastic class on the Vietnam War at UMass, I learned a lot of elements of it that were outside of traditional media.

You also had a high degree of defection or enemy sympathy with everyone, even Americans (Mao Mao movement) in Vietnam, mercenaries were the only reliable troops for 'heavy point artillery', use of infantry as anti-personnel stage clearance.
The Mao Mao movement was in Kenya and had to do with British colonialism. Sounds like you're a troll, and your credentials are made up.

I personally am not sure how well received this would be. The war in Vietnam was fucking horrific
Although you're entitled to your opinions I'm not sure I follow. WW1 and WW2 were both pretty damn horrific as well, and true atrocities were committed, yet there are games based on those.
There's a bit of a difference between a game like Savage Skies that's set during WWII and glorifies fighting fascism, and a game set during the Vietnam War that glorifies American imperialism.
I did not play The Greatest Generation so I'm fuzzy on the details, but did the Nazi PCs there perform war crimes?
http://warisunlimited.wikidot.com/fuchs
I confess to being woefully ignorant of what went on there since I never played on it. It failed to mesh with my appetites.
EDIT:
Some deep diving brought me this gem:
Its not beyond possibility that you get executed, or you get captured, in the course of play here. In which case some special rules will apply.
Executions. Obviously you can't +revive from being put up against the wall and shot. If you have no revives when you get executed, no change, you +rollover as normal. If, however, you have a revive left, you will have the choice of genning a new character, with one less revive than your old, and the full experience. So, in essence, a +revive preserving your stats, though not the character.
If you end up a POW if theres some legit reason that you are returned then you will be returned. Note, in Spain thats gonna be a fairly rare occurrence though not beyond doubt, it wasn't as gentlemanly as WW1 but prisoner exchanges are still a fact of life. Basically if you have a prisoner IC, then you can swap em IC as well. If you /dont/ and there isnt much chance of your character returning to friendly lines - you can use a +revive and that "stroke of luck" will get you home.
So you can perform extrajudicial death sentences. Or could. That game's long since dessicated and blown away onto the ashpit of history.

Not sure there's a market for it.

I am so ticked off by the fact that I'm getting charged $520 for turning my apartment keys in despite having signed an agreement to pay rent till August 1st.
I went full Karen tonight and will be doing it at the boss tomorrow. Not ONCE was I warned, "Hey, you turn this in and we charge you x." I am ticked. I am about to go down and demand my keys back and I'll keep them till August 1st to save myself $500.
We should do like in the Irish proverb and [Redacted] at your landlord.

@Caractus If the game was still up I'd ask you to go point at one such character on it. You were not the only person whose overtly sexual app was rejected.
Anyway, the margin for error is virtually invisible if you try to app a black charbit on a great deal of games,
which has been quite solidly demonstrated here. You can get banned on preassumed wrongdoing. Precrime, as in Minority Report: your appearance alone is justification enough.
Compliance with wiz requests gets you sitebanned, assumptions of malicious intent are common currency, yada yada.
I'm not saying y'all actively discourage people from being anything other than white, but it could be construed in that manner, and would be applicable to the original post in this thread asking why most games are seas of mayonnaise as far as the eye can see.

RE: Diversity Representation in MU*ing
It worries me that you automatically assume I am incapable of nonsexual RP.
Imagine fixing your entire mouth to say that to one of the well-endowed white female characters who regularly exhibit their boobs, breasting boobily about in their palaces, and such.
You would be excoriated and reviled for casting vile aspersions on an innocent baby girl, despite her obvious sexual overtures.
