Well thank you for the vote of confidence, I started working on something, and I've been trying to make it stick if you're interested you can read about my WACKY idea Arkaen.

Its in the ALL THE IDEAS OMG SO MANY, BUT SOOO GOOD. Stages. Its that right level of : Wacky Mishmash fantasy, and... 'Ptolus':City by the Spire', inspiration that I wanted. ( I actually I admit Ptolus was a skim it- and draw ideas out of it. level concept.).

I'd appreciate Feed back. As I said am thinking of doing a Forum/PBP game using the this setting, but its one of those things of 'I need to get all the peices, and then present it to people..

The ones important to the theme and story of the game.

For me that's The Presidio, it's Golden Gate Park, it's Alcatraz, It's Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, it's also Chinatown, the Aquarium, and a tiny bit of downtown.

Trying to map out an entire city is just silly, it's never going to all be used, so make what you're going to use.

Surprised it's still running. I thought it had finally been swallowed into the great black void, and we could all breathe a sigh of relief at its death. Oh well.

Development wise I could definitely use my computer, but if I wanted to host or allow builders or other coders to help if they wish it wouldn't work. I don't have a static IP, my computer isn't on all the time and the ports are not changeable by me. I do see some other options and there's ixokai's comment to look for. So, we'll see.

My next question is, has anyone created a frame for a fallout game yet with the code available to build off?

Out of curiosity l looked into using Django with mediawiki and promptly found this: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/django-semantic-mediawiki/0.1 which is basically a direct integration of Django's (and thus Evennias) database with the mediawiki API. I've not tested it, but it might be an interesting project for an Evennia user interested in modifying and accessing wiki data directly from in-game (make a wiki page for your character and see it in-game, the wiki page updating as things happen to the char in-game ... auto-post logs, sync avatar images to show in the web client etc etc...)

Orly. Time to point that out to Tehom.

All I care about is furthering and engaging with the story.

Give me something to respond to and keep the story going or it's time to end the RP as it's not going anywhere at that point.

Every other factor is of much less importance.

I am not a grammar nazi, if I can understand it then it's all good.

I am not a spelling nazi. We all make mistakes.

The only other factor that 'matters' to me is length of time between poses. If I am falling asleep because you're taking more than 15 minutes to pose, then I am probably not going to stick around for much longer. I have limited time. Don't abuse it.

I play on fallcoast already but am dying to see a mage 2.0 offering. I'll keep my eye on this thread.

I don't know that much about android, but I use MuClient on my Kindle Fire HD and it works very well for what it does. It can only handle one connection at a time, but it's a nice little client.

Yeah. That's why I forewent the "pint" measurement in my clarification above. 1 Vitae is an abstract amount of blood--enough that it's nourishing for a vampire, basically. The more Stamina you have and the bigger you are, the more Vitae their blood is worth. This is the same reason, as far as I can tell, that some vampires have more Vitae than others: the actual mystical power of the viae is concentrated the higher your Blood Potency (hence the term "blood potency") and each Vitae is less actual amount of physical blood.

Could check out Tenebrae, classical fantasy thing. Pathfiner. Last I knew they were active and helpful enough.

The public flag ignores all other publish settings and makes it all visible. There is certainly a way to un-publish individual comments on non-Public buckets.

Tehom has fixed it! He found an issue with syntax in the telnet control strings being sent. And a bunch of other stuff, I feel like maybe he broke three things to fix this one, but I have pretty colors! Thanks for suggestions!

@noveria I am to busy coding my own game. Not very helpful I know, but I am nearly to the point where I will need to start trying to get other staffers myself and can't be of much help.

Yeah, I'm working on some bells and whistles. I'm trying to keep the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) methodology in mind. Right now I have it set up so it will recognize crouching, standing, and flying attacks. Flying attackers run the risk of being knocked out of the sky costing them their attack. There are sweep attacks that do the same to standing attackers (knocking them down and costing them their attack). I have ways of doing multi-damage attacks (say a triple fire ball). I'm working on a system for weaknesses and resistances. There is also a method in place for doing combos taken straight from the SF RPG. I'm also looking on ways of implementing status effects like stunned, frozen, and poisoned.

I haven't been able to do much testing because it's not all put together yet but I'm liking what I see.

And this is why I stick to SimpleMU. It gives you a text box that lets you add multiples of specific text that you want to spawn into a single window from the same spawn setup. >.>

So far I have one person wanting a loose rule set, and one wanting a very strict rule set, but both wanting Supers! which is funny all things considered.

Hmm... Supers is a bit more low powered than I was wanting so will also take some tweaking as well.

Aberrant on one hand, (with a completely new setting, I have ideas of how the world reacts to the Nova's and the cause of them, no Divis Mal etc), or a beefed up Supers on the other (Talking like, 7 to 8D instead of 4-5D caps).
